must not be the 30+ bhp Stuff(more than ninja as said in first post).top speed of only 160(odo?).with 30+ on this bike it should be close to 170 at least.there must be significant torque gain/redistribution for the accl gain??if there was only some way to get rid of the extra weight this bike comes with other than a new 2013 modelOriginally posted by aargee View PostSo ^^^ is that the 30 Bhp stuff then

Wow super idea and less weigh means more pick up super boss
Love the idea. but then u will have to rebalance the bike right ? correct me if i am wrong. Just want to know how to do thatOriginally posted by Joel View PostThe best marriage will be made with the R15 frame meeting the CBR250R engine
. In process
coz 250cc engine should be heavier rite ?
if you dont mind. do you know the weight of CBR250 and r15 engines ? i really want to know. and Joe i read that CBR takes 10sec to reach 100 is that true ? coz r15 can do 11.5 right ?
I dont have any device to time my bike. (Reference to an illegal race removed.) CBR rocks.
if you can take it to 32 bhp u will rock man. i will play with ninja next time. now i am getting beaten after 110 or so..
but i really love my CBR
i changed to dunlop tyre in the rear and have 32F/34R PS air and bike is soo good.
I think i am asking too many questions at one. i am so exited
sorry if i am asking too much. he he he
Sorry Mod i didn't know
..
And thanks for not deleting it completely
2011 CBR250R with full M4 exhaust, Bazzaz fuel control tuning and airbox removed. Best pull made 27.25hp/17.92lb ft torque. Completely stock it made 22.79hp/...
CBR250R Just exhaust and ecu mod. 27.25hp/17.92lb ft torque on rear wheel

CBR250R Just exhaust and ecu mod. 25.5hp/17.92lb ft torque on rear wheel
i do remember reading a post in some thread by saikamaldoss a year back saying the same. may be i will get that ecu and leave my bike bone stock or may be i will just cut open my stock exhaust and remove the cat for better flow.
Joel : if they can get 27bhp without removing the cylinder head or working on it, Why do you have to remove head and work on it to get 1.5 or 2bhp extra ?? dont make sense to me. can you explain ? i would like to learnLast edited by sridar1983; 05-17-2012, 09:30 AM.http://cbrfansclub.createaforum.com/...-engine-specs/

With reference to the post - http://www.xbhp.com/talkies/816084-post.html that was moved here from the original thread http://www.xbhp.com/talkies/pit-stop...ing-tuned.html
You said it well; though I've been trying my best to state clearly individual bashing is not the objective, Joel himself is getting into the mode, may be few individuals like to see this thread closed. May be!!!Originally posted by rx100.7050Too much of individual bashing...is taken into consideration.
Reliable performance mod is what is being discussed here along with some pointers on how to go about things in the interest of learning.
People are completely mistaken here & Joel personally thinks I'm against him despite I saying - http://www.xbhp.com/talkies/815706-post.html. Problem is people jump to conclusions before even reading anything here!!!
Too much of English & biography is discussed here; there were few genuine questions asked on dyno; CBR 250R making 30 bhp; n_aditya had asked where the vehicles are getting dyno'd in BLR, and one of our member also was kind enough to offer a free service for testing the vehicles on dynos, for which there're no answers till date. And all these are happening despite I clearly mentioning
What was CBR's seizure got to do with this perf mod thread? Was that to show even new engine seize? Well, in that case, I haven't come across any other seizure on CBR apart from mine out of all, what, some few 1000's of CBR's sold world wide? Compare that failure rate here, I'm sure half the people aren't posting & I'm very sure none from Bangalore would post anything on their share of bad experience, if any. Oh!!! BTW, there's also another thread of mine, where I built an Rx right at my home, ofcourse I took over an year's time, but completely hand made that too I haven't worked as a helper with any geniusthis thread is not about finding how many customer's are satisfied with Mr.Joel's mod or not
As I'd already experienced a seizure, may be I'm apprehensive about another one especially when so many members reporting so many issues, tell me, how can I go with claims. Also I came across this post...
Performance Upgrades by RaceConcepts for Honda CBR 250R ~ BiKoholic that claims to increase 3 bhp at crank which is ideally 28 bhp compared to your earlier post that says "producing more HP than the green machine".
I see conflicting information flowing from several places & I don't know what to believe as each of them claim something & hence I asked for an reliable output from dyno, for which you say dyno can or will be tweaked.
So Joel, please take my word, I don't have anything against you, I don't know how else to prove you & don't make it personal. Tell me from your heart, aren't my questions making sense? Aren't my apprehensions a genuine one? If you've so much of conflicting information would you go for something? We did see here how much people cribbed about Honda & Quality (and still) for one such seizure, didn't we? So is performance modification all about 50-50 chances? No reliable & all of luck?
BTW, once in for all, repeating, we should ideally be discussing about RELIABLE PERFORMANCE MODIFICATION here.Last edited by aargee; 05-18-2012, 08:55 AM.Skill is what keeps you on a Motorcycle

@Aargee - I'll answer you here. Refer - http://www.xbhp.com/talkies/816122-post138.html
I dont know if its you or my english that you cant comprehend.
I have very very clearly stated that the 3hp bump was with the headwork alone. How difficult is it to comprehend. Thats not the full tune. I aint any retard to call a 28hp engine a ninja killer.
The green Killer statement was meant for our fully tweeked bike with the head, intake filter, exhaust and the works. I hope I'm clear now for the last time. We have dynoed the exhaust to contribute nearly 3hp to the above setup. Once we have our dyno in place, I will not have to bank on a shared dyno, which is not available to our desired schedule.
Also, coming to the dyno, well yes we are getting our Dyno soon and it will be up for public use as well. Dyno runs will be available for anyone willing to pull till about 250hp.sigpic
