10/10 for the desi media for making fools of them selves once again, gave me and many others a good giggle.

Still the bike looks neat, first Indian bike with a mono shock, not enough for me to get excited about, we still need a proper intermediate class of bikes, with between 40-60 hp, hoping bajaj and others will make that step sooner, rather than later.
first indian bike with monoshock was unicorn.

But somehow I felt this move by Bajaj is really confusing. They launched Duke 200 with join venture with KTM which is a 200 CC machine with everything new about it looks and all gizmos in the console and then they come with P200NS which again is 200 CC machine. What is purpose of launching of 2 machines with same cubic capacity and with almost same power and torque figures?

If they would wanted to launch KTM then why didnt they launch Duke 125 instead of Duke 200?
if hmc can offer cbz, hunk, achiever, impulse with same 150 ccc engine why not bajaj.ktm has different legacy that is enough to lure customers with bucks in pocket.for us there is ns.i feel in this ktm bajaj symbiotic relation bajaj is gaining more.
Are they competing internally with KTM? I dont think so. If it would have been 250 CC machine then I would not have had any questions like it in my mind, then for me it would have been like: KTM Duke 200 is R15 v2.0 killer (I know pretty lame comparison but cant help it ) and Pulsar 250 would be a CBR killer, as simple as that. Now? P200NS is KTM Duke 200 killer or P220F killer? (No I am not starting any new discussion here, just a thought)

Price difference? I dont think P200NS would be any cheaper in cost. Is it?
it will be cheaper by 30k as fi,inverted forks, lower profile tyre will save cost.
Well this leaves us (Happy customers) with loads of choices to choose the machine.
in this price sensitive market we ,the customers, are the king.
PS: I am pretty sure soon we are going to see war between P200NS, R15v2.0, Duke 200, CBR250R in the 'What bike?' forum.

    Cheers!

i think the pic depicts how change of frame aids in more cornering thus eliminating the stiffness of bike at corners.

Top notch pictures MG. Thank you. As expected from you.

Did you saw that mentioned blue and black color bikes?
Blue one will look HOT..! I Think..!

And in some previous post, it'll be priced around 30K less than DuKE. So 1.17 -0.30 = 85-87 approx.

May be 75 Ex show room and 85 OTR..!

    Waiting for bookings to start..!

Yup...looks like it is a 3 month waiting period. on-road in bangalore is 1.38 L. Way to screw KTM.

But yeah...no guarantee that the pulsar will have any less of a waiting period given all this hype.

yes, i don't think P200NS will have a waiting period of more than 30 days, coz BAL has a history of delivering the pulsars faster than competition. it is one of there strategies to beat the competition. this way you can always snatch 5-10 % more customers.

Any chance you can get the power and torque curves details?
Maybe somebody else has recorded that.

The front mudguard has dual tone! If and only if they had the racing lines on this bike it would look so much more hotter! but then there is nothing that the local vinyl shop cant do!
