How much did your steel braided brake lines cost you.? And particular company to look out for.?

That order is not correct and you will not get the best from the kit until you get the biggest bore! Till then you will be fiddling with everything to get the tune right etc etc. The best person to talk to would be Joel himself if you want accurate info. But here is my opinion..

The FFE is tuned for the big bore kit (190cc) so by getting FFE for stock bore, you wont get the maximum out of it (mainly sound and engine might rev a bit freely). With the entire Stage 1 upgrade, you will feel huge change. But the stock carb and filter will always limit the performance hence I got that too but only recently.

Also the 190cc bore itself makes a good enough difference I dont think one would really need the 205cc kit.

The brake lines I got was what Joel uses in his race bikes (not sure which brand). The best brand for steel braided brake lines would be HEL, but they dont make specifically for RTRs but they have for R15s, that should work fine though. The main difference I found with this was that the braking is very linear and smooth.

Even I m getting impatient!! Not finding time to do all this.

Will change the sprockets before the next run, so lets see what comes up on the speedo

Also in my last speed run, the dB killer flew off somewhere!! Realized it after sometime Now have to ride without dB killer in city till I can get the new one.. Dont even ask how loud it is after the new filter!!

So I assume you'll be coming to the G2G with new sprockets!

Thanks man.. The "Really a great work" should go to Joel not me & yeah, the bike has no problem flying, esp the front wheel and moreover, its not just the speed, its also the ease of riding.. for example, with pillion the bike pulls easily without any lag anywhere, you can redline it if you want to... Earlier I always wished to have a bigger bike whenever there was a pillion!
Went on a short ride to a hill last Sunday & I didnt realize I rode most of the curves on 4th or 5th gear & no I didnt ride like an uncle Also the vibrations in higher rpms have reduced even further mainly because of the free flow air filter and the bigger carb, hit 96kmph at 3rd gear at 11k rpm & the bike wasnt really stressed.

Will post a detailed review once I get the correct FE figures.

PS : I dont cross redline regularly but only to test the behaviour of the bike I do it occassionally

                Wow thats great!
The main thing here is the job done flawlessly & wow, 96kmph in 3'rd gear is great.
& one more thing, Apache 180 is a much powerful bike , you have made it even better.
                Loved it to the core.

BTW, mine does 87 kmph in 3rd gear; no idea about the rev count...

Abolutely looking forward to see your souped up ride in the nect G2G..!! Great to hear you got Stage-2 installed..!!

BTW what about the exhaust popping? Has the tune improved? AF mix should be optimal now with the new carb. I am considering whether or not to go for new carbs, especially since I am having trouble sourcing bigger jets.

Anyway, looking forward to this Sunday..!! :-D

The response of the carb is something totally different! When everything was fitted together I cranked it and revved & oh man! Tacho jumped to 5k, I instinctively let go of throttle.. then tried again 1k-5k-7k-9k all in less than 2 seconds phew! (or maybe a second or a half, I cant remember)

And the popping has reduced a lot esp when dB killer is still in. In higher rpms above 6k and lower rpms below 4k there is no popping at all.. 4k-6k has some popping... But the response of the bike is smooth and no flat spots/jerks anywhere in the rpm range.. So will be visiting Joel this week for getting a brand new dB killer. Sadly, I m not able to enjoy the new carb as much as i wanted since the dB killer flew off!

Don't worry we are there for that, infact I want to try out a video recording of a fly by at 240 fps (on my new Canon ) and then edit the hell out of it and see the video in slow motion..!! I think your flyby should be a perfect subject..!!

Actually what I really want is to capture a 240fps wide angle of a bike fly by - leaning through a fast corner. Now man that shit will hit the roof after being edited to perfection..! Ok now this is getting wistful thinking and I should stop. Let's first start small with normal fly bys...!!!
