It is not noobish

What you have said is correct, it can vary due to tyre profiles or gearing/sprockets. But I assume it wasnt changed, was it Kiran?
He also said the clutch plates were changed few thousand kms earlier, so it should be fine.

hello Adarsh,

i've swapped the rear tyre to MRF MOTO-D (100/90) and front is Zapper-FS(90/90)

and regarding 5th gear 10k RPM is something i'll have to confirm again.. but only after i meet JOEL

If its running rich, then what about that knocking issue that i had PM'd u about?? though its vanished now, but never tried to max out after that incident

Update :

got the oil leakage fixed and carb tuned by Joel!!
still no top end !!

bike accels great till 105-108.. post that it struggles.. can barely touch 120's
refuses to climb past 8.5k in 5th gear

guys , need help!!

I am assuming you are still having the big bore and ffe. And reverted to stock from stage 2 modifications. I was planning to go for the big bore and ffe so any suggestions? I'm reading very mixed reviews of Joel's race concepts

Bhai, save your money and get a bigger bike in the future. There's no point spending money on RC products at least. I can't vouch for other tuners though, but RC is a scam!
Yes, Prateek dada is talking about the Fz18 thread only. Its an eye opener of a thread. Though there have been numerous threads also in the past, but nobody has brought up pointers like in the Fz18 thread.

That's a wise decision you just made brother. Adarsh is enjoying his bike 'stock' now! That must explain it. At least the FFE is out of his bike AFAIK.

Ya that explains it. I didn't read that he removed the FFE (did I miss it?) . Maybe he hasn't updated it. I thought he didn't face any problems yet.
