      This (the pics from orkut) probably isnt the rtr180,because if u look real carefully u will se it has circular disc brakes but rtr180 was supposed to have flower like disk brakes

        before I went to bed last night I thought that this thread would have a few more pages added to it by the morning... so I came straight here and I am not disappointed...

        BTW, the work on the bike in photos seem to be genuine work but I want to believe that this is not the final RTR 180 and the one seen might just be one of the test bikes and not the final one.

          It's definitely just a mod job or a prototype featuring A180's engine on A160FI's frame. CAN'T be the final release.

            Well the bike retains the same body parts only with cosmetic changes... hope its just a prototype, but can a test mule be registered?

              The clocks on the RTR 160 are waay better(aggressive) than these... lets hope this is not true....

                      Seriously guys, chill... I'm pretty sure this is either a mod job or a test bike. Either way, TVS won't make the mistake of releasing a bike that looks like that. (Considering that people are comparing FZ16 to P200/P220 purely on looks, TVS has got to do something about the looks to sell this bike.)

                        It really does not look like a mod job, because where will you get a TVS 110/80, 17 inch tubeless tyre? How bout the rear mudguard?and the white tacho? Seems highly unlikely anyone would actually go so far to disguise and pass off a 160 as a 180!

                          one good thing is that RTR 180 owners can now put R15 tyres instead of crappy tvs ones as the rims are now 17 inch

                            And guys, I'm telling you, he could've just mixed up all the shots of his modded 160 carb with photochopped shots where detail is there..

                            it could just be that the engine is being tested in the same 160 test bed in real-world conditions. but again, I've seen bajaj test mules with families and they have temp no. plates..

                                The FZ Pics were on BI, CubicCapacity, and tBhp... the Specs however were first released on xBhp... and back then it was still supposed to be FZ15... If my info is right, its the hype that happened here @xBHP, that made Yamaha call it a FZ16!

                                Now if only all this hype here can make TVS Chnage styling bits on this one!
