The Kits will be made available for public in sometime. Since its a performance addition and as long as it can comply to the emission norms, TVS can sell it liberally.sigpic

He has already spilled out enough about the bike and its performance.Mark his words and it can be as close to listening from the horse's mouth!!Originally posted by mzone View Post

Just waiting for the official claims, i don't give a damn as to how the bike looks. It's the performance(with adequate handling) i am looking for and if the bike is able to surprise you every time you wring the throttle seals the deal for me!!

The power output of the bike is close to the p200 on paper but rest assured it will kill the R15. Which means the p220 is also not spared. Now this is based on the tests by TVS at their test facility using their team riders and not some uncles who race on the street.
The RTR has always been a pocket rocket among the current 4-strokes and a bang for the buck.
A few pointers why the RTR 180 will be better than the competition is,
Pricing, will be priced cheaper than all the performance bikes and just a few bucks over the FZ.
Highest torque and power to weight ratio.
light handling and an awesome tracktool
Very good fuel efficiency
And offers the highest VFM
The RTR 180 has a good package to literally kill the p200/p180/p220/R15 and maybe the RTR 160 FI itself. The RTR 160 FI and RTR 180 wont have too much of a price difference and buyers will sure be confused to pick their ride
These are the best words I read on this thread after the first post!
Come on TVS, bring it on!

Hey guys there were around 208 pages full of queries of RTR 180

.Now all gone why???.Anyways I don't think there would be small difference between the Fi's
rate and RTR 180's coz if they do they will screw their own product. So in my opinio there should be a healthy margin of approx 6k in the price

. Why are you feeling so insecure
? No matter what parts a bike is made of, finally what counts is how it is gonna perform. Stop feeling insecure and be happy that the Yamaha has competition and it will force them to come out with a better product. Come on cheer up

Someone said that R15 has brought a revolution in Indian Market but somehow YMIL didn't know that there is a cheaper way to go about it!!Originally posted by pulsar_flame View Post@joel no way it can be compared with r15 and it cant kill r15 for sure because r15 is diff league pls dont compare with it....both bikes are totally diff becuase this is liquid cooled 4 valve..forged piston etc cmon tvs apache dont have anything like that....
Enough of living up with the rumours, does anybody have any idea about the launch date of the bike?

The current RTR uses a very basic layout, yet isn't way off the R15..(That too on those shitty tyres)..And for 60% of the price, I think..That is quite a deal..
And no one is stopping yamaha from upping the displacement and have some real firecracker competition going!Motorcycle Snaparazzi. Tourer. Motorcycle addict. And so many things more...
Think you've seen crazy automotive action? Not till you've been here!
