I would say a "Pi" filter is an overkill. Anyways, my LEDs never flickered with the cap! Why add an inductor to the mix, when a cap does the job satisfactorily.

In simple terms, it smooths AC signals.
      Thanks.
Here, you are talking about a filter.(am i right)

Hmm.. Right. Probably we dont need perfect filtering here.

Yeah.. Capacitors and inductors and their combinations are used as filters in electronic circuits to block AC signal (by shorting it) and allow DC signal.

And if the brake light is on DC from the battery without any caps, it will not occur.
the park lights(in the tail lamp) are connected to the ac and brake lights to dc,,
so only the park lights will have this problem. right?

Yeah, in case of brake light which is DC, you don't need diode and caps. Just resistors are enough. Refer to my diag in the 1st page.

can u pls explain how u calculated the value of the resistor used?

how did u take out the tail lamp assembly? i removed the 2 screws and only the outer transparent glass could be removed.

Removing the tail is much messier than installing LED's
You gotta remove grab rails, side cowls and then tail lamp unit.

If you are interested in doing, then don't remove the tail lamp unit. Just make use of circuit board and install them. Refer this link. Its very well done on Unicorn.

                      • Shree I've got my HID Projector and am working on it. Here's one of the pic. Poor cam quality courtsy : N6300

Slightly bigger size, 4" outer dia, not that easy to fix in Pulsar, may be I've to use in my car. But am impressed with the spread with this big size lens as the low beam effect is so wide. Will post all pics as soon as I finishes.

The are some mathematical formulas involved. If you just want the values see this.

@sajjt - Projector looks good. Waiting for the works to complete.
