Squealing is a big time issue with a lot of P220 DTS-i 2009edition as I have had this since day one but it has nothing to do with that rusty clip on the rear disc assembly. I noticed all the bikes in 2010 lot with that rusty clip which is not because of the washing. SO, don't worry and don't discontinue the water treatment of your machineOriginally posted by Goku View Post
i got that squeaks problem i wash my bike P220(BLUE) once every 15 days but also i hear this squeaks from the rear disk brake and also some rusting have taken place within 5 days of getting the bike in clips that holds the rear disk pads

Once in 2 weeks....Use formula1 car wax
Specially for ppl in pune/around vimannagar/yerwada- There is a washing center run by yerwada jail prisonors opp. post office...they charge just 20 bucks to wash the bike and do a neat job as well... i find it quite a deal!!

+1Originally posted by aargee View PostI used to pour buckets of water with direct hose connection; ever since I bought my car & learned how to wash a car using 1 or 2 small bucket of water, I adopt the same with my bike & scooter; Use a car shampoo on a small bucket of water, wipe motorcycle & scooter, use a diesel dipped cloth for cleaning tar spots & oil, then clean the bucket & refill with clean water & wipe off. I may or may not use polish, but ensure the mud & oils are clean. I follow this once a month or two approach; however, I usually have a bad habbit of removing the tank, seats, wheels, carbs, chains, side panels & clean them once a month. IMO, I see my motorcycle with love & people at water wash see as business.
@aargee, I so much agree with you

3.Then Clean the Tyres using A Detergent.
4.Then Wash It Again Using the High Pressure Bosch Aquatak 100 Cleaner..
5.Dry them for 15 minutes and then wipe the water.
