ideally chrome does require extra care in monsoon..but it shouldnt have hapened with a new exhaust.sigpicComment

Dude I have Joel's FFE on my R15 for last 20 days in Hyderabad. I did not find any rust.Comment

I thought the FFE's are made from stainless steel and polished? if so the rust you are seeing is just superficial, you will need some acid based cleaner to remove the spots, this will also prevent further rust from forming on the surface. This is a problem that occurs often here in Goa, I use only SS hardware is my business, on occasion customers have called me thinking I have supplied inferior hardware, the cause is either metal particles in the water or from the atmospheric dust, with a high content of iron ore in our dust and therefore also water here, it simply sticks to the SS.Originally posted by A@shIsh View Post
