lighting is the key...good light even a vga camera would do good...

i have tried with my xperia p with diffrnt lighting conditions and the results are amazing if light favours you...

Talking about photos from phone camera, here is one from mine. No idea how the phone camera managed this on a hot sunny noon..

I used canon 55-250mm lens reversed handheld, as lens was not attached so could not change the aperture.

You were there?? I can see its been taken from grandstand. From there only a telephoto lens can click.
BTW here are my clicks from the event "Click Here"
