Tyre pressure ? naa Perfect !
    Air filter might be culprit.
Using engine oil is sc oil should change by next service.
Pakka Bike giving 50+ mileage & mostly normal roads in chennai.

So air filter & engine oil might be the problem ?

correct me if i'm wrong, but I think your front tyre is fit backwards, isn't the thread in the wrong direction?

I don't have a pic right now, will get one. but I'm pretty sure its backwards. the thread pattern should be such that, when the bike is moving forwards the tip of the "V" pattern contacts the ground first and diverts water away from the center of the tyre, yours seems to be the opposite.

i was about to buy victor. yeah u heard it right "VICTOR".
Somehow convinced my DAD to get this.(he was against Pulsar's and Yamaha's that time!)
              its done 5years!
mods done till date: yezdi(minda) rim @ the back (after 3rd service).
TVS jumbo tyres(done with dunlop and MRF)- (after 3rd service).
              FZ handle bar (year back)
              Yezdi headlamp unit. (year back)
no performance upgrades though. am quite satisfied with the way the bike handles in city.

                hey guys,

I own the old bajaj discover 135 (analog meter), with the disk brake. This model comes with the half chain cover and the O-ring chain. I had to replace my chain-sprocket set today, but surprisingly none of the service centers have the O-ring chain. I think the new discover with the digital meter comes with the regular chain and a full chain cover, and all new spares are for the new model. I had no option but to use the regular chain. Does anyone know if the O-ring chain is still available for the discover 135?

                                [HELP]
After buying the KING, have neglected my Disco a lot. Before was cleaning the Disco every sunday, but now i use it hardly 100k/month
its been almost 2weeks i have parked it in garage, without starting/cleaning!

There was lot of acid leakage from the battery (local made) 1 yr back. had noticed white powderish substance wich was the paint and the metal (chasis) turning into powderish substance cause of the leakage.
So changed the battery to Exide bikers, after that there is no leakage from the battery and there was no acid spill also.

Today i noticed white powderish thing on the chasis\centre stand. check the attached pic.
Rubbed the powder with tooth brush and i could see almost 1-2cm of the chasis under the stand turn into powder

                                Following are my concerns:
                                1) There is no other leakage, i dont leave the bike wet after cleaning. Always wash with soft cloth after washing, haven ridden the bike in rain also in the past 6-7 months. Is this really cause of the battery leakage? coz battery terminals are well moisturized using vasolene, there is no leak from any part of the battery and yeah i use a cover even in garage!

                                2) Is it enough to scrub the damaged part using good grade sand paper+paint it @ home. I0s it worth a DIY or a should I go for a pro painter and get it done?
