Hi Ravitej.... Four bikes share the same engine, viz. Honda Unicorn, Unicorn Dazzler, HH Hunk n HH CBZ Xtreme..... Hunk n CBZ Xtreme engines have been tuned by HH to produce a peak power of 14.4 hp.... Unicorn engine is tuned for more refinement and is most refined of the four bike... produces a power of 13.3 hp.... Last but not the least comes the Dazzler.... It has been tuned by Honda to produce 14 hp , slightly more than the original Unicorn.... This newly tuned engine makes it more aggresive and sportier, at the same time slightly less refined (sliiiiiiiiiiighttly ), than the original Unicorn.... Thus the difference in sound in the four bikes..... Again it also differs from bike to bike..... but basically this is the story behind this superb engine....

I hope this answers your question...

    • Guys, a few advise from my experience(read it as crashes). Please do remember to spend some money on the riding gears. A helmet (Rs1000~), Knee/Elbow guard(Rs900~) and shoes are minimum. If you can spend a few bucks more please do buy a riding jacket which can save you from spinal injury. Get on to ebay to find these. Believe me guys, it worth the money spend. Remember the pain, time to recover, inconvenience to u and others, hospital expense etc. And again, Dont do high speed over taking in single/ 2 lane busy roads and blind corners. Go to the expressway for 3 digit speeding. Happy riding.
Love the ride, not the destination

        MOTUL 3000 4T Plus 10W30 or MOTUL
        300V 4T Factory Line 10W40 ???
Recommended oil is 10W30 but i have heard 300v range is best from Motul so i am confused about this.
Both are mineral oils. And any idea bout the cost?
I know have lots of doubts but done want to take any risk with my new bike
Mineral oil is best for a bike in runin period,So get MOTUL 3000 4T Plus 10W30 and do it yourself if you know to do it or get it done from a local mechanic, guess its nearly450rs/ltr.

you should have already have done at 150 and at 330kms you should be changing it for 2nd time.
still if you have not replaced it before...DO IT NOW!
and you should always refil with BOTTLE pack of oem HH engine oil...atleast till you complete runnin peroid!

              • Guys I'm going for the new hero honda hunk ( last model, double disk) coz i got a great deal from my friend by selling of my cbz x.

i want to know some information...plz
Whats the difference between these two bikes acceleration in low end, mid range, top end etc. Many will say that exactly same but whenever i drive both of them i always notice a difference. why is it so??

Many says Hunk doesnt have better top end, after 80km/h it slows down on the other hand my cbz x goes there very fast. is it true??

Whats the true top speed of hunk?? i heard that first model of hunk had very sluggish top end but in the later model it was rectified. is it true??
last time i saw a review in bs motoring where they quoted the top speed of hunk 113km/h & cbz x 115km/h. if its true then why everyone says the top speed of hunk is only 107km/h....??

Whats the spark plug gap for cbz/hunk?? can i install a plug which has .6 mm gap??

Is the gear ratio same for both of the bikes?

Can you guys please help me to have peace of mind ......coz i'm selling of my cbz x to buy this new hunk....

                • kaali bhai i think i you just pre-assuming All the things..!
your bike is new and engine need to settle down a bit.
after few more 100kms you can judge yourself the smoothness and sound of cbz is similar to the old one!
dont worry and enjoy your ride!

                      Hi ShahriarXtreme,
I have ridden the initial model of hunk on several occassions and I never faced any problem with its pick up... have rideent it to plus 100kmph though it has been a long time now... Cannot comment on the present model but thought of giving one suggestion hopefully you dont mind....... Please have a test ride of the new CBZ X once if you haven't done it yet.... I recently bought it and trust me... I am floored by its handling....... Hopefully you get out of your dilemma soon n get your new ride soon

Sorry couldn't help you with your query and on top of dat, brought up something totally different.....

                      ride safe.... njoi

even i would also suggest you for New CBZ-x!
i have took the test drive for both the bike, aka, hunk and cbz (both dual disk) back to back and then came to the dicision of purchasing New CBZ over Hunk.
As the test drive vechile Of Cbz was new i was against the pickup of cbz but after driving and completing my 1200 kms i bet you'll find better overall dynamics of cbz over hunk.
since both the bikes share the same engine you wont find any difference in biking but somehow i find cbz having edge over hunk.
The NEW hunk is somehow very similar to old hunk with few more goodies here and there..but the WHOLE NEW cbz is Re-Disigned by HH and is now 4 Gen cbz here in India (hope my calculation is correct).
But yes, some will really like the Maascular looks of HH Hunk,so i suggest to go for a back to back test rides of both the bikes but MARK MY WORDS....test ride the bikes with have completed more than 3000 kms to judge the real outcome of any engine.
                        my personal opinion!

                        • octo this the the time when you should be caring for her the most..
all the rest SHE will take care of yours!
so respect her and take proper care!
still its not too late...always follow the running in advice till atleast 1500kms and now make sure you change yoour engine oil at first free service @ 150kms.
dude i always prefer to fill the engine oil in front of your eyes through THe bottle pask OEM engine oil.
i have SEEEN the HH mechanic issueing the oil for your bike and then using it for thereself. They dont bother changing the Oil since they think that Engine OIl Last for 2000 kms and you new bike is runn only 750 kms.
so they charge/issue engine oil on your name and sell outhside or use for themself.
                          Please take proper attention...everytime!

                            • bro the thing is i live in Bangladesh & the new cbz may take 2-3months more to arrive here. i got one of my friends hunk for sale which has run for only 3000kms at a very low price. i cant afford to buy a new one. the only thing i was concerned about was the acceleration.
thats why asked so many questions??
