If you can adjust your self then no need of any unnecessary works. Just wait for some kms and then settle to the feedback it gives. Else remove excess oil.

Jithin is correct, if you are willing then you can pour fork oil in a clean container (beaker or graduated funnel) then pour back. This way you can measure and pour

Is it normal ? Mechanic said since the oil is new it wil take time to absorb the damping.
A good jump or a decent pothole at high speeds is all it takes for the suspension to start leaking again.

Serviced my hunk today...changed oil from stock hero to motul 5100 10W30. After 50kms of run I can say engine felt a lot smoother at higher rpm. Will provide more details after a month of use.

                  Hello again friends,
i was out of station so couldn't get my bike serviced,
also, a few new issues has showed up in my bike,

when i put in the keys of the bike from off to on, the bike won't respond, as if there is some loose connection, or no connection, the rpm meter doesn't clocks once, and the display shows nothing,

also, no lights , horn work, it's like as if my bikes battery has become dead...
could it be due to weather conditions.?

but 2 out of 20 times (or simply put, anytime), it works normal, all good, horn ok, display ok...

i left my bike out in the rain a few days ago, after that this issue is occurring, i really don't know much about electrical, but i guess this is due to some loose connection around the key holder position,

any suggestions people, apart from getting serviced done,

even for getting bike serviced, i will have to go to mechanic, which is 10km from my place, for that i will be needing my bike to start...

i hope somebody understands the issue i am having, if not, i can get a video added here...

after that i kept the throttle lose and was shifting down gears to check the sound from gear 2 to 1 but when i shifted from 2 to 1 ,there was a sudden vibration and it sounded like kat kat kat(excuse the sound effect). It felt like gears teeths are sleeping in the engine.I immediately stop the bike by holding the clutch and brakes without shifting any gears.the same thing happened around 6 months ago when a friend of mine was riding the bike and i was in the pillion seat.I didn't bother then as i thought it was just because he shifted the gear with little pressure.
I own o hero honda hunk with 11k on the odo.my carb setting is 2.2.I am using servo 4T full synthetic 10w30(MRP-rs 706 but bought it for RS.400) .Any idea what is happening and any suggestions what should i do?

                        already checked that,

anyways, a guy who lives below my apartment suggested me to check the battery, so we both opened the battery cabinet, and found that it was a loose connection and a little bit of carbon, sand paper worked there, and viola, all good again.....

Which bike and how much run.

Check the clutch settings. Usually with use the clutch play increases and the clutch doesn't dis-engage completely while shifting gears.
Adjust the clutch such that it has the recommended free play. Then check. If the problem solves then good else we will delve into it deeper.

My bike clocked 34500 km since 2007. And now I feel that rear shocks are not working as they should.

Can anyone help me with the price of new shocks? And should I replace the shocks or get them rebuilt? I have heard that shocks can be repaired.

Any references in Bangalore where I can get new set of shocks or get them rebuilt? Any particular brand that I should look for i.e. Gabriel, Endurance etc..

Secondly, I want to upgrade the headlamp. Should I change the relay and then the headlamp bulb? As changing only the headlamp bulb would put strain on the battery!!

                                Please suggest..
