Yes its because of my obsession of keeping everything perfect that the mileage is always good.

Yes i have the stock bulb and it is Philips German bulb which cost Rs. 220. Planning to get Osram Night racer which 35 watt version of Night breaker.
I was about to comment regarding the photos..
Night racer is not easily available in Chennai...anyway I fitted 55w. But I read somewhere u explained like getting more from 55w need rewinding coil. Bit I thought of giving 55w a try by simply replacing the bulb....result is petty impressive.

I didn't buy branded one. I had a spare local bulb from swift car. So I used it to know whether it harms battery/reflector. After a month or so still if it dosent harm battery / reflector then I will buy a branded one.
In GP road all types/brands of bulb are available.

It ia good.even Philips extreme vision also. But for testing purpose use cheap one to find out out the electrical compatibility.then switch to branded one.

Between anyone has any idea about this bulb. ? First time came across this type of bulb

Hey sibun...how you are getting such a great mileage. that to riding in zone of 75-80 km/hr? I never got that much even when ridden sedately at 50-60 km/hr If i ride at 75-80 km/hr all i get is 40-43 km/ltr not more than that..

what are the possible reasons for the high engine sound. i mean no additional sound but just the usual engine sound has become louder.

                          Additional info:
my bike returns 50kmpl in city, highway 55+.
pick also good though i didnt ride other's bike so cant compare mt bike acceleration.
there is a tak tak + grrr noise coming beneath the speedo (really irritating).
                          My bike is still smooth.

experts plz shed some light. one of my friend also facing the similar issue.

If the fuse is blown off, you can start the bike by shorting the wires and again if it is blowing then you need to investigate the issue in the electrical system.Keeping multiple fuses as a spare not really helps if there is an electrical problem.

                                Guys some update from me.

Bike is running fine, and needing some TLC which will do in Dusherra holidays.

On 8 th monday had to go to home since sister was leaving for her job on 10th. So took leave for two days and left office by 4:30 pm. As usual by the time reached Highway it was dark. Have to go 105 km in dark. no problem since bike's light was absolutely amazing. And besides i like riding in night as Highway are usually empty and devoid of morons from the side settlements near major crossings.

Stopped at a petrol pump to fill fuel. Took some rest and clicked some photos.

Led parking lamp glowing bright and looks very good. "Tiger tiger burning bright in the darkness of night"

The sign of the petrol pump on highway. Gives a sinister feeling on dark Highway. Also look at the moon shining bright in the darkness of night.

Another shot of rear tail-lamp. The Led lamp on the extreme is one of the best in its segment.

The same photo with night mode on. The brightness of the lamp can be seen in this photo. The rear brake light is even brighter.

The meter console. The whole meter is of LED light, and in dark night looks fantastic. One of the best looking speedometer console as i love the analogue tacho a lot. Although it make look analogue but both tacho and fuel meter are digital with stepper motor in it.

The photo of the petrol pump from where i was sitting. Perfect setting for a rest from long trip. Petrol pump, lights shining in night, trucks parked, only one thing missing is dhaba. A dhaba would have completed the whole look and atmosphere.

By the way that night itself i checked the mileage after filling from this pump. Bike returned a mileage of 56 kpl with speeds ranging from 75-80 kph.

Another incident i would like to mention, which denotes how reckless people are and have no care for others or owns life.

After filing petrol from the pump, two Hyundai i10 filled from same pump. They were having two families. Since they were also going to bhubaneswar, followed them as following cars in night is much safer.

Near a place called Nirakarpur, the highway is slight incline and on the middle of incline, there is an indica parked middle of the highway at an angle of 45 degrees. Both the I10 and i passed the indica and the car was still and the driver was leaning on the steering.

Fearing that the indica will be run over by trucks, we stopped. The driver from both i10, gents member and me went towards the indica. Since we were a total of 7 gents member so i stopped else in that dark and lonely highway i wouldn't had stopped.

On inquiring the driver was so much drunk that he was barely in his senses. The i10 driver parked the car on the side of road, and then we all went away.

How reckless can a person be?
