If you want a trouble free light then stick with the stock one and if you need more light at highways the install some good aftermarket fog light separately. So whenever it require you can use it.
Obviously it will be reliable man... its HH's tried and test electricals... But we are here to try and discuss how it can be made better than discuss the known one

I have mentioned to use custom made LED stop light if you can go through it once again... or go with lower wattage 5w bulb... This was just an Idea... I'm a Mechanical engi not electrical one mamu

      • Tuff-up tube...

Today I have taken the full advantage of the Tuff-up Tube in the rear wheel of my bike. Yesterday, after coming from the office, when I checked the rear tyre, I found a screw

I also have found that Honda is also having Tuff-up for front tyre also. I am also planning to put this one in my front tyre. This one is costs Rs. 350/.
But finding a tuff-up tube in Kolkata is a horrible experience for me. I have called up all the ASCs of Hero Honda, called up the MRF guys, and finally the Zonal Office of HH, but was not able to get it. Finally, called the Honda people and found the stuff.
        Move on.........

        • The Tuff-up Tube is very worth full..

Even I’ve a pretty much good experience as same as on wheels.

It was a festival days and somehow I found a big Screw nailed on the rear tire, I knew about the Tuff-up tube inside and new that it could hole the air for few kilometers. But I was thinking that I should to take it out or leave it as it was B’coz I didn’t had a single minute to get it repaired. But then I realize that it could damage the tire and I pulled it out. Same a lil liquid came out and then stop. Just then I had to go for and I ran, amazingly I drove at that condition for 3 days and even the tube didn’t loose its pressure. But it continued to release the liquid very slowly. When the festival is over the I got it repaired, but I really want to do that. Coz I new at the time of removing the tire the mechanic should damage the rim edge paint surface. But I had no away, I had to do it and same thigh happen, scratch. But somehow I make them lighter by touch up paints. I havd no idea at that time about the MRF showroom. on wheels told me that they have a system to remove the tire.

And on wheels your tube shifting method is also good. But I’ve no idea about the front Tuff-up Tube. AFAIK those Honda bikes too have normal tube at the front wheel. If you manage to get one front Tuff-up Tube then you must get one for me. This gadget is really awesome, really worth full. AFAIK Even tubeless tires are unable to get intact fro that longer period.

And really I never ever want any more to get my tire puncture, just for those scratches. And luckily I never happen again. Thank god.

And it was my confusion, HH don’t manufacture Tuff-Up tubes, only Honda manufacture the Tuff-Up tube stuffs.
Speed is a joy but roads are not race track. Keep speed in your limit and always Drive safe...

The Tuffup tube is manufactured by MRF only and it is both for Honda and Hero Honda. Unfortunately, HH people don't have the stock right now.
I have seen the front tyre tube(2.75-18 - as I can remember) at the Honda Service Centre. Its Shiva Honda, 17 B.T.Road, Rarhtala.

Just called 3 honda dealers in chennai they all have the tuffup tube for the front for Rs400 .I am getting one soon

The only time i had a puncture(Front) the puncture guy tried to cheat me he punched 6 holes into the tyre when i was not looking and demanded i change the tube .

Guys the manual says the CF filter should be cleaned every 6000kms should i get it cleaned that often.

                    • Updates on Tuff up tube:
After 3 days of puncture(almost 180+ km),I have replaced the punctured one with Honda Tuff up Tube. When I went to the puncturewala(as I did the tube replacement and puncture repair in two different place), the guy was not able to find the place where it was punctured, even after dipping the tyre in water. Then the puncture was locacte by visual inspection. The pin-hole was completely sealed. The bad side was the liquid got harder and when I saw the mudguard, I found that the liquid got spilled all over it. I had to wash my vehicle to remove it. But still, I have kept the repaired tube as a backup.

                            • Yesterday cleaned the CF filter as it has not been cleaned for the past 10000Kms still not a speck of dust was there.Poured 300V 10W 40 also plonked the Gpower Spark plug as the old one was all BLACK what does this mean i know the mixture is wrong is it set too lean or too rich.

Changed my front tube to the tuffup thingy cost me Rs330. Saw IDeMITSU 10W 30 oil stacked up in the spares section of Honda they said they now use it in the unicorn.

I saw this Xtreme owner who is using castrol 20W 40 from day 1 his bike has completed 31000Kms with no problem... so much for the grade.

It should harm the engine in higher rpm fot first 10 to 20 min ride.

Dude, its too reach. You can check the emmission, the 'Co' should be below 2.0 and the Hydrocarbon shoud be 500 to 600. Tune your engine and recheck the emission. Thanks to @Soumen.sam who helped me to fix the problem in my bike.
Please post your short experience with motul 300V 10W40 in your bike. From where you have got this stuff???
