I checked that too.. Float valve would fit only in one way into the groove. May be i will give one more try later to confirm.

CB unicorn alloy has gearing of 15/43
    Yours has 14/43.

So in effect you are dropping 500 rpm in 5th gear.

That is causing engine to lug and loosing torque.

So you are loosing put on fuel efficiency.

I hope the bulb in question is DC powered, else its just a matter of time before it blows.

Is 20w 50 is good for me or not as no bore kit change no oil seal is change after 300 km oil colour is as stay as new
For head cleaning where to go SVC or local mechanic
Get it cleaned from a trusted local mechanic. Castrol Activ 4T 20W-50 (MINERAL OIL) gives good performance. Change it every 2500 km, don't add top-up unlike the Hero 10W40/50SJ ones. That will give you a better performance atleast. I've friends who use 20W-50 in their Hunks/Achievers which uses the same engine as Xtreme. I've personally used 20W-50 from Castrol in my brother's Unicorn. It performs really well. The shifts are really smooth and you don't feel any engine noise when down-shifting. The smooth spot hits at about 4500-5000rpm for shifting and you can barely hear the level shift sound. If your oil color doesn't change easily and remains good, it means that your engine is healthy. It might just need some carb tuning for mixture (spark plug issue mentioned earlier) and while head cleaning isn't done unless you've issues even after carb's adjusted, get it checked with a nice local mechanic first. TBH, Hero SVC isn't what it was supposedly in the old days. Hopefully this helps you to diagnose the problem somewhat.

AFAIK the tappet noise from noise often accompanies with carbon deposits on plug at times. Does that happen for you?

About the part where you talked about idle RPM, did you mean 3000 instead of 300? No bike goes to 3000RPM on idle under normal adjustments. Hero Xtreme tends to vibrate on high speeds and it's a known thing. There's no solution to it really but if you're facing any discomfort, I would suggest checking the above and getting your head cleaned.
