I have owned Hunk for 4 years and have ridden it extensively in Chennai traffic.
Unless you keep idling the engine for long time, the bike never gets heated up.

I can think of the below reasons for over heating:
    - Very lean air fuel mixture (symptoms include bad pick up, difficulty to start in the mornings etc). This could be due to incorrect carb tuning
    - Blocked or poor oil lubrication in engine (Check oil strainer and centrifugal filter inside the right side crank case as Jithin suggested)
    - Incorrect clutch setting which leads to slightly/partially engaged clutch in the running (symptoms like bike's speed is not proportional to engine RPM)
    - Bike is due for an oil change ? How often do you change the oil?

Can you post a pic of spark plug tip witout cleaning ? If everything else is fine get the oil pump checked and the oil stainer + rotary filter cleaned. Which engine oil are you using?

I currently own a CBZ Xtreme (2012) make and has clocked about 82K (total) during my various road trips. For the past two years I was away and my dad was using the bike.

I returned back home recently and since the past one month I noticed that the bike is acting weird above 6000 RPM or 80 KMPH in 5th gear. It is having a jerking/running out of breath kind of feeling. The top end Xtreme is known for is totally gone and climbs to a max of 95-99 KMPH on ripping (just to check). The sound, acceleration and everything else till 80 KMPH feels totally normal and runs fine. I would like to ask the experts here a few pointers or areas where I can get my hands dirty. A local mechanic said it is due to carbonization of engine and I need to get it bored. However there is no smoke from the silencer.

If it is due to compression leakage or something related to engine I will get a new cylinder and piston. Kindly let me know your thoughts. Thank you.
Have you checked the air filter or the intake duct. Seems like classic example of air intake blockage.

My GS150R cannot keep up with 1500 on the odometer at the start so I have to use the big screw to tune it till 1500 everyday but when it gets hot after a few Kms it goes up to 1800-2000 so again I bring it down to 1.5k while on my way.
Recently(20-30kms back) my tank was filled with water, got it cleaned but I don't know if he cleaned the carburettor (He said he just opened the carb and removed the water cos a week ago he had himself serviced it)
He also told me the drain hole is choked so water will flow inside anyhow and he put a big plastic tank cover

    Issue:
The bike stalls while running. From 1500 it goes down slowly in a second or two and dies. It would start after a few forced self starts and after a lot of throttle it runs. Showed it to him and he said "Air ka problem hai" and did something on the right side near the fuel flow pipe.
It stalled again and he did the same shit and told me it won't happen again and if it did then open the tank lid and close it

A while ago it stalled again, I opened the lid for 2 seconds, closed it and bang it started fine.

    Possible Reasons?
    1. Is it the tank drainage hold that's building some kind of pressure and hence the stalling?
    2. Is it my carburettor? The carb pin is put to place using a tiny plastic piece so it doesn't overflow (been there for 2 years)
    3. Is it cos I keep my fuel flow to off mode and put in On cos of Point 2

Please help guys, I have my exams in a month and have to travel daily to the library on my bike.
Giving a slight throttle in the mornings to hold the idle RPM is fine during cold starts. Set the idle RPM to 1500-1600 when hot.
Does your bike have something over the tank that obstructs air flow into the tank?
If the bike bogs down after running for few kms (hot engine), then it could be due to very rich AFR or due to slightly engaged choke.
On top of that - hope you do periodic cleaning/replacing of air filter.
