There is no disadvantage of double disc except that it costs 3K extra, your friends are wrong when they say it's dangerous, it's the other way round. If you intend to ride your bike faster, than a rear disc is good, else a drum brake at rear will be sufficient.

No bro..Its not possible.Yamaha has that option for their fz's.

+1^^^ I suggest you to pay the extra 3 and get the double disk one because if you are going to fix rear disk later,it will cost you more than 8K for sure,So paying 3k is not bad at all.

for cbz xtreme? And what is the cost?
Try to choose a close range oil ie., 20w40 than 10w40..Unless of course you live in a climate which tends to go to 4 to 5 C...Then it is advantageous in providing easy start in cold climate.
Shell is a Good Make , and can be used without issues..

Disc or Drum, if you apply sudden break at the rear wheel and wheel locks up, the end result is same...skidding...
The Disc brake is superior because even in wet condition after going through water it's performance to brake will not go down as much as the drum brake.

To go for disc at front and back has it's advantages, and in stock form it is better than add on.

New CBZ Xtreme has optional rear disc, you need not wait for rear disc, just order bike with rear disc (if you are interested), Happy riding !

As good as others...Just look for the JASo MA2 compliance and the required grade...it is your insurance against problems.....Stay away from CASTROL since fakes are in the market.

Take the double disc version..like i said before in wet condition the disc is superior in not loosing braking power..Please remember jamming on the brake will definitely lead to skidding...A disc can lock a wheel under power more than a drum type brake..You must learn how to use a disc brake properly and not complain of wheel lock and skidding later.
