i feel that the disc brakes in hunk are quite good. Ya the initial bite in the front is little low but the rear is very good. This lacking is due to progressive type. If if the front bite is more and sudden then it will be trouble. I did stop from 95 to zero in very very less distance and time with both the brakes pressed than my drum version of hunk earlier i had.

Belive me, i had driven p220, but didn't felt confident. Please don't take it otherwise (pulsar owners my opinion only). Rtr 180, r15 and hunk are best in their rear disc department
    chill bro..
Seems like you have misunderstood. I didn't say hunk has poor brakes. Infact it has got really good progressiveness which i enjoy myself very much.
What i said was that, since the initial bite isn't that great, its no wonder if someone couldn't make out whether its a disk or a drum at the rear. Thats all. The disk has got ample stopping power and will be evident the moment you put it to fulluse.

And the rear disk - well, even the front disk on a Hunk lacks that signature disk brake feel and character. The first time I rode a Hunk, I was like at the brake. But don't worry, it HAS got the power but surely lacks the initial bite.
So no wonder the you couldn't realize a disk at the rear.

Again, you tested a brand new bike, right..? Mine after having done nearly 400kms and 1st service, still hasn't opened up. Once it happens, the difference will be obvious.

      but why?
is HH is not sure of cbz brand and they manufacture less numbers of cbz or is the cbz is huge brand even more than HH Hunk that it rules the waiting list and Hunk is availble on demand (any model even dual disk!)

      wats the reason?

new cbz xtreme is readily available. I think its your dealer fault not the co. Fault and earlier also it was readily available. I am seeing the new cbz in showroom display from last week

I don't know whats happening country wide but here, demand is so overwhelming that HH finds it hard to keep up. All models (even Passion and Splendor) has a few days waiting.

            • Hello CBZ X & Hunk owners, I am a big Fan HH & Yamaha. I have named CBZ X a silent bike. It's engine is so smooth and silent that's why I love its engine. Engine is almost vibration free at high speed.
It is a very fine bike for cruising & Commuting. New CBZ X didn't hit Bangladesh till now. I am wondering that would be another blast with engine balance technology. But its main drawback is the braking system. CBZ X has very poor braking compared to its counter parts. Otherwise it is a great bike.

I am currently sporting Apache Hyperedge which is too almost vibration free. Good luck to all here.

                  • Battery Replacement

Hello friends, I am using a Xenon light on my hunk(35w). Its been 2 years and I didn't had any problem, but now as my battery is already 3 years old it has started giving me problems. I know that xenon consumes a lot of power so I would like to know as what should I do with it. I am thinking of upgrading the battery with a greater amp one, will this be a good idea? Should I also replace the charger with it(The one which is placed under the seat). Which company should I go for?

yes, people usually don't purchase double disk so it is quite possible that u won't find ready stock and have to wait for it...

I come from Andhra pradesh(South India) the price varies based on the location u stay but not much though the double disc version is 80k approx(79700) and i went for black color the other one which is available is red, even thats good but i found black to be much better

PS: the new digi speedometer is just awesome
