my self i have been victim to a crash on p150 ug2 (of a friend of mine) ...m a very safe rider....that day a small gal playing besides the road came running for the ball...and to avoid her being rammed by the leg guard....i applied the brakes as i do (to save myself from rechless truck drivers at highway)....but to my surprise the bike just slipped of beneath me....she was safe...but i got bad bruises on hand as well as leg...(nothing on face...i alws wear helmet ) well its part of the play...anyone can get hurt...but the bottom line is what i said in first line...
DIY : identify a less traffic road....plane and dry....zoom upto 70kmph and apply both brakes so as to avoid a collision with...say...as in my case.... do this with p220 as well as karizma.... now see the tyre mark of both.....u can easily identify the rear wheel of p220 going out of the line....
well... @ all - ride safe and wear helmet
i completely agree with you. 2 yrs back i had pulsar 150 and it skids a lot causing damage to itself and hurting me too and i also totally agree with u that it is not properly balanced

            Keep riding bro..
Good that you are getting used to the rear disk. One thing I wanna tell you is, don't always rely on the rear one alone. It may be powerful, but thats the very reason I am saying. Use both brakes simultaneously. Rear may be sufficient at low speeds, but at high speeds or in a slippery corner or such situations, braking with rear alone can be a problem. Even with a drum brake. So try and make it a habit to brake using both brakes simultaneously.

congrats for your new bike. Ya double disc of both new xtreme and hunk are just awesome. tell me how did you feel about the grs suspension. 60 Kms of travel.. did you get tired.

need the mileage report? carry on & follow the run-in properly. change the oil at 150 kms first, then 500 Kms. and then normal drain period. but first nad second should be changed earlier.

Regarding fisrt service.. " PLEASE DO NOT SAY THAT YOU NEED TO INCREASE MILEAGE" the moment you say they will tune yourcarb and bammmm gone your settings. after than either lean or rich. will take a lot of time to clear the problem. in my seciond service I had to open carb and clean it and retune it properly. now the vibes had come down a lot and think its good now. so please do no let anyone touch the carb.

else enjoy it... very good choice and really love these bikes for their stabilty.

Not a bit tired even after 60 kms it was like was jst getting started dunno about the pillion seater though

                    • If nobody cares to post pics, then I do..
Did a short 25 km ride to the nearby hills. My first attempt to take on hair pin bends. A partial success. Had 16 hairpins and may be a 100 bends on the way, blended with steep slope. Totally enjoyed it.
May flower trees are in full colours, adding cream to the cake. A few snaps I took with my humble 2 MP mob cam.

                          • Carb setting for Hunk and CBZ X

                            Greetings,
To the seniors and the gurus, pls tell us the technique of setting our hunk and cbz carburetors to the optimal. Tell us how do we do it? The procedure.

                            Regards.

NB: 'cause i think if we know how, we can do it better than the svc techs.
Lean = Effort towards what you want, Rich = Effort towards what you need.

I ve tried, but to no avail. Its kinda hard to make people join xBhp. Those who are born to be an xBhpian, will join at their own will. Others simply won't understand the spirit. Thats the way it is. Again, there is no point in pushing someone in here, who can't understand the spirit.
