well, i would suggest hero to degign a completely new bike rather than bringing cbz 2.0 and hunk 3.0 etc etc
i agree with you black colour is not that good but silver is awesome i had also seen it personally in showroom, digital meter also suits on the silver colour, in silver colour tail is of red colour it really look awesome with led tail light. it has a very nice sheen in silver colour. i would recommend all those who are going to purchase cbz xtreme go for silver colour its best, don't just decide colour seeing the pic on hero honda site its very good when you see it in real

    • Is it possible to put the air scoops and engine cowl of new Cbz xtreme to old Cbz xtreme.
First think you are special then work towards proving it.

        • Greetings,
i don't have any cold start problem with my hunk now. idle is set to 1250 rpm, and it always is when starting cold. but problem starts when the engine is hot. the idle becomes irregular. it never goes up above 1250, but comes down to 700, 600 or stalls most of the time, like 1100-900-1000-800-1200-1000-800-600-stalls. marginally noticeable white smoke when cold started and raising throttle a bit.

Are these problems related to bad carb tuning, or something else? Is there any possibility of bad oil? oil level is ok.

honestly and surely....engine of uni is the smoothest one (among all the commuter bikes)

one my cousin own uni and i have rode it for about say 2 months when we exchaged our bikes just for a change
cbz-x and uni does share the same engine (honda's 149cc powerplant) but uni's engine is more refined and hence better mileage (58-59 kmpl is my personal experience )
cbz-x 's engine is more power oriented and hence better pickup and accelertion.

havent rode cbz-x 2011 edition as of now....so can't comment about that.

                    • Tuning for mileage

Guys i own a hunk and i have K&N filter installed! Im getting a mileage of 24!! with the filter installed! and now ive removed the filter n its perfectly stock! The mechanic had tuned it after fitting the K&N n now since its stock i need to tune it back to stock (air screw and fuel). Can someone help me out tune it for a better mileage pls?

P.S: I checked the mileage without ripping. Just sane driving n i got just 24! Im expecting at least 35-40. Kindly helppp.

Tuning carb is not an easy task, take your bike to same mechanic and get it tuned back to stock settings.

Well i actually lost the mileage after gettin it tuned by him so m thinkin over it this time. But i guess the one who screwed knows exactly where he screwed it!! Anyways ive made it stock now, il check the mileage once again wit stock n then take it to him.

Thanks for the reply. By the way, how much mileage can i expect when its stock in city?
