If the smoke is only there after resting the bike for some time, and not when driving normally, and your engine oil level does not drop much......your valve stem seals are the most likely suspect, and can be changed...but it needs the opening of the top head of the engine, removing the valves, and resetting them with new seals.

Shift between 3-4k rpm for mileage and 5-6k rpm for power.

Do you think that even my bike had the same problem?

May be....problem is at best we can only guess and convey through the net...whereas people at the site can judge better..still we all try to do the best we can for each other...

                    Hii Cupid

http://www.xbhp.com/talkies/pit-stop...rburettor.html. please follow the mentioned link you will getting everything about carb tuning.

But my advice would be " DO NOT TOUCH CARB" if its a new bike. Its my request. i have done and spoiled the settings. Please avoid it. even SVC guy told me that they also cannot bring back the stcok condition. Mine took 3 visit to svc and at last opening and washing the carb at 2000 Kms. now ther vibes arr really less and its ok. but mileage is reduced still its ok for new engine. better less mileage in new engine than running lean.
Don't research too much while purchasing, else you will commit blunder

                      • By the way shahriar bro, Castrol Power 1 is 10W40, is not it? :S

In some site it says 10W40 and somewhere it says 15W40. Which one is correct? I never found it to be 10w30. Really confused.

                          • Ok this is bad according to calculations my xtreme gave 30kms mileage but thats cause i am relatively very new to biking the engine stops many times and i use clutch more so thats the reason......the only thing i am afraid is as i am getting to learn the bike will the mileage improve when i drive the bike good again or does it go by the same mileage????

                            • Urgent

Hi, I am going to book the double disk new Hunk today. I have few questions:

                              1) If the new Hunk comes with full DC electricals, I mean if the headlights glow without starting the engine?
                              2) What is the mileage i can expect from it?
                              3) How is the bike spare cost?
                              4) Previously I had RTR 160, is it worth to switch from RTR to Hunk?

                              Looking for your valuable reply.

This is your run-in period. It is normal to be low mileage because of rich mixture of AF to engine. It will surely increase after 2nd service.
                                More Clutch = Less mileage.
I myself use a clutch a lot. In fact everyday I have to crawl at 20KMph for 2.5KM and have a lot clutch usage. Still I get 39kmpl on my RTR hyperedge.
As I am also in run-in period, I am not complaining.
You will surely get 35-40km/liter after 2nd service by a proper AFR adjustment.
