You're right, less free play than recommended is harmful to clutch plates.
If your gear shifts are smooth and bikes doesn't stall on putting first gear on stand-still , then your setting is fine.

guys...here are the pics of %%/60W bulb in my hunk.

No modification in electrical....ust plug and play. been 1 month and no battery issues.
Result is amazing....superb illumination compared to stock. This is a local cheap bulb. will try philips or osram in future.

I just ensured not to start with bulbs ON as a precaution.

Any any chance, can we add just the projector lens to the normal bulb?

yea gear shifts are ok.so if i give more free play ( more than recommended ) is it also bad for the bike ? my friend told me that it doesn't have any effect.but in the book it says free play should be within 1-2cm. thx

Slightly more free play is okay. If you are still doubtful, why don't you set it to whatever recommended in manual?

its very hard to adjust equally at both side and it seems left side has enough gap than right side or both has same size.

which is ideal spanner for adjusting chain, L type handle with 30 no. socket OR 30 No. ring spanner.

I have purchased CBZ xtreme 2010 about year back from my fried now i have purchased FZS and while driving FZ i noticed that at 5000 rps in fifth gear FZ reaches speed of 71 but when i am using Xtreme at 5000 rpm it reaches speed of 50 only and to reach speed of 80 RPM needs to be 7500 i have also checked with my other friends xtreme with same year model and it will do 65 KPH at 5000 rpm i don't know what wrong with my bike as my friend told 2 years back it had an accident in which front wiser and speedometer got damaged so he replaced speedometer but now speedometer it shows accurate speed and about tachometer i can feel that it shows correct rpm from vibration of bike at higher rpm

i have already replaced clutch plate and pressure plate of bike 3 months back

Yeah so I got the Bike on 29th From Used Bike Dealer in Gansoli, Vashi For 27K with Papers in really good condition. There was also a Unicorn 2004 but it gave white smoke looked like it was end of life for that bike. Color I like it yes I knew there was lot of things I will have to do with the bike cause the owner used it very rough.
