I think hero has changed the gear ratios in Hunk as many Hunks i have seen have quicker acceleration than extreme but extreme has greater top speed and also less rpm. Its because my bike hits 117 kph at 9000 rpm and has touched 122 kph at 9400-9500 rpm.

But hunks touch lesser speed at that rpm.
Dear Sibun Bro can you get a little deeper regarding why hunk touches less speed @similar rpm compared to xtreme? I get only 111km/h @9000 RPM...49km/h @4K rpm...61km/h @5K rpm, 74km/h @6K rpm.....85km/h@7K rpm.....100km/h@8K rpm.

if there is anyway possible to match the speed of xtreme, i want to do it

Ya mileage is quite good. My extreme is returning 55+ kpl when ridden on highways at 70-80 kph and nearly 58-60 kpl when ridden within 4.5 k rpm.

As for the handle bar check the rubber grommets at handle bar where it meets the t-plate. Those would have worn out. Change those. Will cost Rs. 40 for the set of four and go for OE only. Same as splendor rubber grommets. So no problem in finding.
I've let it be as it is. The new helmet filters out a lot of noise, so I can't really hear the tappet noise even if it does exist.

As you said, I'll let it be for another 1000km at least now. Let's see how it holds up.

I also believe the worn out grommets are the reason why I don't feel too confident with hard braking.

I remember comparing the gear ratios much earlier for the Xtreme and the Hunk. They ended up being the exact same. To the decimal point. So it can't be the gear ratios. :/

              Thanks will change it tomorrow.

As far as I know, Hunk and Xtreme shares the same engine, gear box and tyres.
                For higher speed, replace the 43T rear sprocket with a 41T. Then the bike reaches 52 kmh at 4000, 65 at 5000, 78 at 6000, 91 at 7000, 105 at 8000 and 117 at 9000 rpm.
Here the pickup reduces but still better than P150 and Unicorn.
Hunk, with its stock 43T sprocket, reaches 117 kmh at 9400 rpm; not 114 as shown on your phone. Hunk's maximum power output is at 8500 rpm. Hence going beyond that or even reaching there is almost impossible.

SIBUN you are one gem. We proud to have person like you on this thread. Why don`t you publish a book for complete maintenance of CBZ XTREME . I`ll be the 1st person to grab it. As you said i turned carb screw precisely 1.8 point turns & then went away for office. Trust me i never felt such pick-up, shear power of xtreme ever since i got my ride. Throttle response was so sharp, crisp. Post 5000 rpm bike ran like beast. Believe it or not i had panic braked almost 15 times, locked rear tyre 3 time on a way to my office. (Courtesy: SIBUN :P). Luckily bike hits reserve so filled petrol worth 100 Rs.(1.32 ltr). Will check mileage now. Refer below pics of spark plug post tuning & 90 kms of run. It it perfect or or need some fine tuning.?

Brick red color of plug says it is perfect afr , even i didnt get so deep color on plug . Mine was chocolaty brown. Dont alter afr now if you get 50+ kpl . Yes his experience helps all of us maintaining our rides like new .

                        checked mileage.
It came 55.8 kms for 1.32 ltr of petrol for 40% city stop-go traffic & 60% highway ride with little bit of ripping to 80 km/hr.
Is it good or need to make afr little bit lean. I turned afr screw 1.8 time from close position. Bike running on shell Ax7 10w40 oil(1500 kms old), 8000kms on odo. Air filter cleaned 2000 kms ago. Chain was dry.
Will be going for 4th service. What to check & replace on 4th service. I thinking to change spark plug(pics here post no.#9819), engine oil, air filter. Should i do it or just get oil changed?
Also my insurance is about to end on 1st NOV. Which 2 wheeler insurance is currently best in the market? What is no claim bonus in insurance?

Seems like the general afr turns suits your altitude conditions. Plug looks really good. Me too didn't get this brick red color.

Yes. It will cause early wear out of clutch plates. Set the free play to 5 mm on lever.

thank you.but some told that giving less free play wears out clutch plates rapidly.
