That clutch side crankcase cover gasket is a very common part costing Rs 30 or so , hero service center should definitely be having it . Otherwise they could not be doing ANY work on the engine's clutch and oil filter etc on that side . Maybe they are saying that just to avoid doing the work on your bike . They tried that on me too - and I got them that gasket from hero parts dealer here and then they had no more excuses .
If i use any other oil then how will they know it?
Bro the engine oil i was talking about is Havoline not valvoline. Hopefully i will switch to castrol power1. they didnt have clutch side gasket coz i saw people coming to change their clutch plates and SVC advising them to purchase every parts from outside and they will take the labor charge >
they are new in BD so they need to make impression, coz in here most people think only HERO is a chinese company :P

Got my tyres replaced with the same MRF zappers. Feels much more dynamic now. Happy with that

But then, another problem surfaced. Upon routine inspection, I came to notice that the disk pads are almost worn out, so got a new set. But when I tried fitting them, I couldn't. Problem is, since the current set of pads were so thin, the caliper moved farther from the connecting plate (ie, floated away to remain centered, which is okay). Now, I need to move it back to original position inorder to fit the new pads.

Now if anyone know how to re-center the caliper, do help me out.
        Thanks in advance

Firstly, to get comfortable you can remove assembly by removing those 2 bolts. Never leave it hanging. Thoroughly clean callipers from any dust or mud. This is optional if you have done this.
          Now coming to your issue,
Apply continuous/ constant pressure on the callipers for moving it back. You can do this with hands or some spanner( be careful). If you apply constant pressure for 5 -10seconds you will notice the piston calliper going inside. Just be patient calliper will get in very slowly.

Thanks for your concern but, I think you didn't get my query correctly. The problem is not with the pistons. The whole caliper unit has moved with respect to the plate that we connect to the fork. (if you see closely, you can see that the caliper unit and connecting plate are two different elements). What I want to do is move the caliper unit with respect to the connecting plate.

Dear All digital meter Hunk users and others
please let me know what speed do you get @6000 rpm & 4000/5000rpm?
Currently I am getting ONLY 73KM/H @6000 RPM!!!!
              and 48KM/H @4000 RPM
my tire pressures are according to hero.....29/33.

But the funny thing is i was clocking 51km/h @4200/4300 rpm and then stopped & checked my mobile GPS is indicating that I clocked 53km/h!!!!!!!
Quite shocking since my speedometer is supposed to show more than the GPS speed isnt it?
so what do i guess? My bikes speedometer is damn accurate?? :P

A 2Kmph difference is acceptable . Digital devices gives you reading at specific instants of time. May be while you saw the speedo , it was 51Kmph at that instant , and your gps COULD HAVE recorded a higher speed of 53kmph at another instant of time. Dont worry about speed. Just make sure you get correct distance reading on your odo meter. A slight difference between devices is acceptable anywhere.

I guess the only way the space in the caliper would decrease is if the pistons have pushed out overtime from their original position i.e. due to brakepad wear. So to free up the space you do need to push the pistons back in until you have enough space. You can push them back until they are flush with the caliper's inner surface. Note:After you put the pads on, you need to pull on the brake lever a few times to push the pistons out to their original setting. I guess you have two pistons upfront, so pushing one in might push the other one out. You need to push both in together. Use one of the older pads on top of the pistons and push the pad instead. You can use a C-clamp if you have one for this. Be gentle though, as far as i know, the calipers are made of soft alloy. Keep an eye on your brake master cylinder as the fluid will be pushed back into it as you push the pistons back. You dont want it to overflow!

That is baseline of Motul oils means its a premium mineral oil. Overall its good similar to Mobil 10w30 but at that cost Gulf and Veedol semisynthetics are available which are much better and give better protection

My hunk's rear suspension is easily bottoming out if i have a pillion and if i even go over a small speed breaker & this is very frustrating.
Is there any way to solve this problem? i mean suspension wont bottom out.
My ex cbz also had this problem but not so easily, it required 2 pillions :P
My ex unicorn by the way even with 2 pillions no matter what i do the mono never bottomed out.
Anyway i really love my hunk & want a solution
Please enlighten me with your knowledge

Refer manual and open the tool kit in bike , and tighten suspension of both sides to hardest or one step before hardest , manual shows which way to turn .
