Satson : No I don't think it was the kick stopper he was referring to. Just look from the clutch side just underneath the engine. Between the exhaust pipe and the engine side bottom. There is a metal (plate/clamp?) like structure. Even I was surprised. I just couldn't make out the use of that. Will have to see the parts catalog for further clarification.

Sibun: Absolutely. The balancer is an internal rotating part. These mechanics you know - use all kinds of terms for various problems and parts. e.g. "Bubbling" refers to "wobbling" here!! :P :P
Was the fuel line blockage due to bad fuel/dirty tank/or some back pressure problem? Good choice with the 10w40 oil. I think it is a must in hot summers. Rest seasons 10w30 suffices fine.

sibun was there blockage in the filter of fuel cock ? as i remember if one fills from unscrupulous places it is bound to get blocked, but since you get pure fuel how did this happen ? also can you please give pics if you have of head and valve cleaning job ? .

Fuel line blockage was because of dirt in tank which has accumulated over time in tank.Bike has run for 32 k kms and in this time, tank has never been cleaned once. Moreover for a long time i had not switched to reserve, so bike was always in main when i re-fueled, may be thats why bike had dirt sticking to tank filter in reserve mode.Ya 10W 40 oil is good especially when using FS oil as FS oils makes the engine free. But you know what engine doesn't feel punchy like when using 10 W 30 oil. I have been on the look out for FS 10W 30 oil but none is available. Decided to use Honda throttle, but here the Honda showrooms think that they are just too much to sell oil. So cannot get the throttle oil .

Pure fuel, man that is one of the biggest myth that i have come across. Sometimes i do fill at some pumps on highway. FUel line blockage was purely due to non cleaning of tank for so long and also non usage of reserve fuel for long. Yes the dirt was sticking to the fuel filter in tank.Ya have the pictures will upload as soon as possible.

AS over PM i once again congratulate you on the new bike.As for the speeds check the tyre pressure will be wrong, most probably rear tyre will be having less pressure.

Infact both my tires are over inflated. At 4500 rpm I am getting 54kmph and at 4000 exactly 48/49 kmph.
Feeling tensed.....had a hard time purchasing this bike and desire nothing but perfect functionality from this hunk.

After riding for 20-30 minutes tappet noise appears. but after resting it goes away. do i need to adjust the tappets or will it be ok after piling up some kms?

I haven't personally experienced the said tyre but i have seen many bikes running on those and they are running good and also according to owners tyre grip is also good.Birla is quite an old company when it comes to tyres and so they must be good. Usually truckers use Birla tyres and they last good. It is just 3-4 years that birla entered bike tyre market.Change and see as nothing harm in doing so. Will grip better than the pathetic ZAPPER Y.

Excess tyre pressure in front tyre will also show less reading on meter, due to front tyre rolling radius increasing. Why are you getting tensed for no reason. Learn to enjoy riding than to worry on small issues. That is not tappet noise but the roller bearing making noise due to heat. Nothing to worry. Let the bike run normally without fidling with anything.

sibun : I am going for Dunlop Geo Cruiser only. Had I been riding in the city, I would have bought this tyre. Just because I am going for the Leh trip starting next week, I do not want to take chances with a new (unreviewed) tyre. Anything grips better than the Zapper Y for sure. Since the Geo cruiser was an OE tyre for Xtreme and unavailability of the Dunlop Trail 100/90-18 (in tubeless) made me go for the Geo. Will post reviews of the same with tread wear pattern, etc. once I am done with the trip.

Anyway looking for better headlight bulb for using at night preferably 35w. Pleade suggest me a better bulb and provide a link for purchasing online in india. Current headlight is good for high beam but not for low beam.

Even i will be going to leh starting 14th june...
Wanted to know about the Geo cruiser,is it TL? or TT?
I will be changing it over the weekend...

And for the people thinking about high breakpad cost in my last service,my bike does not have nissin break pads. during the service got them changed and it was clearly mentioned on the pack the price as 589 rs.

Maybe i paid more, but now i have started having good breaking power in my front wheel.

But there is a problem i m facing, since the time my rear break shoe's were changed there is a constant resistant sound coming from the rear of the bike, maybe the service guys overtightened the chain,or maybe its the bearing sound which i m experiencing, any Suggestions to check it myself, whether its the sound of the bearing or chain?

May be the clearance between brake shoe and drum is less, try rotating the wheel on center stand and see if wheel rotates freely.

Got the Dunlop Geo Cruiser today. TL. Took a lot of effort to inflate the rubber. Actually, bead was not binding with the rim. So a tube was inserted and inflated. Kept it that way for sometime and then the tyre mounted again. Hopefully, it will work now. Grip is way better than the Zapper Y. Now extensive testing will be done in the next 2-3 days. If it runs fine, then this tyre goes to leh. Otherwise, I will get the tube type Vertigo/Gripp as a rear tyre with a spare tube.

Also got my name and blood group stickered on two side panels in reflective radium type. Feels like a rally ride now :P

Is it Mentioned anywhere on the tyre that it is TL? or Is it the normal tubetype tyre you are using it as tubeless with the different tubeless valves?
Coz i have read somewhere that if it is mentioned as TL on then you should buy a TL tyre.... otherwise any tubetype with tuffup tube should be used...

Do Mention the review of the tyre after using it for few days... Will be really helpful....
