Yes there is ...in fuel injected vehicles, and vehicles with ECU the electronic and electromagnetic noise from various sources like ignition spark, alternator, etc., can do what is called a edge trigger leading to erroneous working of ECU.... With the body being -ve, it acts partly like a shield since it is metal and ,also the "0" reference for the circuit.....however these circuit boards do have their own de-coupling and EMF shields.Originally posted by sooraj_vs View PostWhen Was The Last Time,You Did Something For The First Time.

Went to buy the new cbz extreme today...but to my shock....All of the avaliable 10 peices got scratches on it..... i was very dissappointed...
The manager of the showroom is saying that they are common everywhere as the load of bikes comes from a truck....everyone who bought a bike had same situation?

I think small scratches are common,Are those scratches too big??? Here, manager offer us with new parts for the damaged item if he has that item in stock.

ahhhh....ok i thought that new cbz xtreme might have better electrical sytem or say d.cOriginally posted by sooraj_vs View PostBuddy, first of all, its not a design flaw. Its a property associated with all bikes working on AC electrical setup. And the new extreme is no different in this regard.

Yep. Scratches during transportation is common. Dealers should replace the parts, as we are paying 70K not for a scratched bike. If all the bikes are scratched, select the one with least damage and make him replace the parts.Originally posted by Aneesh@4GHz View PostI think small scratches are common,Are those scratches too big??? obviously check for other showrooms....or wait for other lot to come...thr is no point taking a scratched bike for such a amount.....
but first of all, bring this incidence to the notice of HH people (through thr site)....and write this incident in showrooms feedback register too

hey guyz...
i myself checked the Hero Honda Showroom In the morning in order to check the CBZ 2011 in flesh...
but my bad luck...still cbz 2011 is not hit the showrooms yet!
as per the salesman..HH is not able to co-up with the spares supliers hence the production is damm low to launch this model country wide.
is it the Honda-hero Split effect..?
secondly,he ask me to check the Double disk HUNK is I am further intrested in dual disk CBZ as the chassis and engine will be exactly same on both the bikes.
on test riding the Dual Disk Hunk i really cant differtiate it the single frnt disk model...its almost same, no disk like effect on rear wheel..?
why?
OT: the HUNK is Brand new which is test ride!
but some how i feel my Honda Stunner More REV-Free than Hunk in mid-range RPM but yes..pickup was better and more linear then Stunner!.............................................

Even before launching the new version, CBZ was a rare sighting at showrooms. It had nearly 2 months waiting, and TD wasn't available in most showrooms. No wonder new version hasn't hit the roads. I don't believe this is an after effect of "The Great Split"Originally posted by bikekrazy View Posthey guyz...

And the rear disk - well, even the front disk on a Hunk lacks that signature disk brake feel and character. The first time I rode a Hunk, I was like
at the brake. But don't worry, it HAS got the power but surely lacks the initial bite.
So no wonder the you couldn't realize a disk at the rear.
Again, you tested a brand new bike, right..? Mine after having done nearly 400kms and 1st service, still hasn't opened up. Once it happens, the difference will be obvious.MOTORCYCLING IS AS MUCH ART AS IT IS SCIENCE
