a cdi should not conk out like this normally.
you might also want to get the wiring checked thoroughly for any short circuits or wrong connections due to tampering by previous owner.

take it to a authorized service center and get their opinion..(just tell them it isn't starting, and not about cdi issues etc..)
The service center is too far away when I checked with the mechanic he opened the scooty up and said there's no current because of which it isn't starting and to take it to an electrician to check for wiring but the electrician he suggested is far away too so am looking for an electrician nearby to check if any issues with wiring

Got it check at service center they also say the cdi is conked off ( showed it to 2 other mechanics same opinion) , but am not able to digest how did the second cdi conk off so early within 3km. the reason they say cdi because there is no current in the scooty .

It's been two months for my dio, after the first service bike refuses to start on first crank, even after pulling the choke it struggles a bit, Should I change the spark plug and engine oil ?

Cross posting from the Tyres thread

I have one question regarding Honda Activa 125. MRF is providing a larger tyres "100/90-10 ZAPPER D - TL" for the rear. The typical rear tyre for Activa 125 is "90/100-10". I wanted to know if someone has fitted this tyre in their Activa 125? How has been the grip and handling of the scooter after fitting the tyre? Does it give better grip in wet road conditions? Also does the ground clearance of the scooter gets reduced after fitting this tyre?

I don't think the problem is with the carburetor..

This is pathetic, my scooter is new and the starting issue 🤦🏻*♂️. Let me explain what is actually happening !

I didn't ride the scooter for a whole day and the issue started when I try to crank it the next day. After multiple attempts of kicking and self it had started, this issue won't appear if I ride it daily. All these issue started happening after the first service.

This is an issue which happens with my Activa too. It appears that Honda has cut some corners to maintain its corners, especially the scooters which were manufactured in the last 3 years.

i dont think they fiddle with the carb at the svc. does the scoot fire up when you use the choke ? i.e. pull the choke, count to 5 and fire it up and see.
sometimes it could be a vaccum issue.. try to open and close the petrol tank and see it that helps.
otherwise you might need to get the valve clearances adjusted, provided the carb setting ok.

i think the aviator uses the 35/35W HS1 type bulb. do check the manual or the old bulb. which yr model is your aviator ?
you could go upto a 40W but i would risk plonking anything higher than 40W
bulbs from bosch are also a good choice

Using this for a while now, the output is just leagues ahead of what the stock 35/35 is capable off.

It's more or less a direct fit.

Fellow enthusiasts have used it without issues on the Activa.

I bought it second hand so don't have the manual, mine is around 7 years old, am okay with even a 35w because I dont take it out generally in night

then it must most likely be the hs1. why dont u first remove the headlight bulb and check it before buying one. pretty easy to get the bulb out.
old model activas/dio's came with a ba20d bulb.

Hello friends, I'm new to this forum but have been a reader for sometime now.

I have an Activa 125 and I have this problem recently that the scooter switches off on idle (especially when headlights are on) unless accelerator is kept given lightly. It's kind of annoying when waiting at signals.

Engine oil replacement is due and will be doing it shortly but not sure it's related. Or is this problem related to clutch? Should I check for clutch shoe wear and rollers wear?

make sure you are not riding with the choke.
this wouldn't be caused by clutch shoes or roller wear.
start off by just increasing the idle a wee bit using the idle adjustment screw on the carb and observe how it behaves.
if that doesn't you might need to clean the carb and readjust the idling setting.
