        I own a 7-9 month old dio.
        Nothing out of the world

        Underpowered engine

Doesnt carry my mom and dad with conviction
My dad always complain about its lack of power

        Milege is a paltry 30-32kmpl...

Added to that I wonder who designed the rear foot panels....

Are they there to give some stretching excercise.....
They are one of the most awkwardly placed foot rests on any machine in India.....

Less mileage depends on lot of factors. Riding conditions, the way one rides the bike, regular service of the bike, and tuning of the bike.

If you feel the bike is running good and service at required intervals has been done, then check the riding habit. Try to ride most probably around 40-50 kmph which will give the max mileage. The acceleration should be linear and not sudden bursts.

If the bike is not serviced properly, immediately do so.

Bro its my dad who drives it.
Prior to this scoot, i had an eterno which gave some engine related issues within 8k kms and 2 years (under warranty)...

I did not meant anything about the scoots performance, Its more to do with the lack of power while lifting loads and climbing uphill....!

Hondas are happy on honda genuine oils...

Better go for it only...else they tend to loose ther smoothness...!

yeah!! there isnt much noticeable change when i used a castrol synthetic oil for my 07 dio!... its better to stick to honda oils... and for milage problems,... take the scoot to a trusted mechanic and ask him ta check the full engine...
