Gifted my ride with a new set of rubbers at the rear. Got myself a Dunlop Monster from JC road to prepare my ride for the rains ahead. Not the best thing on the market but I found it a decent alternative to Michelin Sirac (which cost a whopping 3900 bucks).

Dunlop Monster 100/90*18 Price: Rs.1950 (including tubes)

Other options considered: MRF Meteor (Rs.2400), Ceat Gripp (Rs.1800)

The JC Road guy did a poor alignment causing the tyre to touch the swingarm - but later I got it fixed with my local mechanic. Quite surprising that 100/90 for the Gladiator is a very snug fit. Any wider, and it wont fit.

Would you mind sharing the costs involved?

Bike's much more torquey now. Its able to pull the rider and a pillion even at 2500rpm in 5th gear. The power band has increased. Virtually no drop in mileage. The exhaust is now much louder. The mods done are 150cc bore, bigger carb, full head tweek & FFE.

Well it does. But then again who cares

If anyone has done it then pls post some pics of the same.

    Thanks!!

The thing with leds are that they usually beam light straight. So there can be dull spots on the sides of the speedo. Nowadays you get SMD's maybe those will light the speedo better. You will have to find one small enough to fit inside the speedo. Its a job you can do yourself actually. You can experiment with a few different colours leds and smds to get it right.
I got the White LED stuff done this weekend! Looks lovely now. The only problem I face now is that my eyes end up ogling at my console instead of focusing on the road ahead! Here are some pics:

I want good looks for sure, but not at the expense of reliability. Ur advice plz??

Also, do u have an idea about the type of bulbs used inside the speedo/tacho? A pic of the bulbs (if u have spare ones) would be helpful.
