    i. Sans inc short bottle with glass wool - it seems to have a good bassy sound (as heard on youtube) and the review on the net is good.

ii. A complete free flow punjab exhaust (i have one spare at home that is why it is an option, otherwise i dont want that loud a sound)

iii. A modified stock silencer- A mechanic here can get me a stock silencer with modiifcations for increased sound and thump. The sound wont be too loud. What i understood is that it is stock with some jaalis removed.

iv. Getting my stock silencer modified by removing few jaalis - I would prefer not to touch the stock silencer and would like to keep it as it is.

Personally i dont feel like going for either Option ii and iv. If any one could give me the pros and cons of these options or can suggest any other option. I like a medium bassy sound and thump and not too loud. Thanks in anticipation.
Your bike is under warranty and you want to change the exhaust??? Forget exhaust, change the horns and warranty is gone. Believe me, you would regret modifications in case your bike has a problem. RE's are known for giving minor problems that may cost a bomb without warranty. Keep the bull stock and enjoy the thumps.

Completed 3000 kms in 6 months.. so far i have kept everything in stock condition, it is running great...after 2nd service it became more smoother. company service center is not good. after free service people face some minor issues which should not be there..but believe me ,what a feeling to ride a 350cc thumper you will be forgetting your current sportsbike within seconds..

          Hi Guys,

I have completed 5500 in nearly 5 months heading for 3rd free service very soon.
I'm thinking of changing my stock handle bar with RD350 type, my question is, does RD350 type handle bar go well with stock seats ? or do i need to modify seats to bucket one's ?
          Influence grows like a weed........

True. But the older cast iron engine bikes have a much more unforgettable ride. Though I feel that way coz I own an old bullet.

                  cons-
The quality is not as good as original silencer
vibration increased after you reach 60 kmph maybe arround 10%

                  pros-
much needed typical bullet bassy dug dug sound
                  performance seems same as earlier
                  Engine noise seems reduced

As per my knowledge goldstar and wildboar are best for bullets. Correct me if I am wrong...

Saw a bullet classic 500 with a gattling gun exhaust today and it looked awesome. But sound was not sufficient.

Goldstar and wildboar are not best but very loud sounding silencers... i do not like too loud sounding exhaust because in morning i have to raise my legs in air while riding so that i can be safe from dogs running arround me

Need Expert suggestions on Bullet Electra 5S ES BSII 2008 maintenance.

I recently upgraded from Bajaj Pulsar 180 to Royal Enfeild Bullet Electra 5S ES BSII 2008 and shift from Hyderabad to Bangalore.

Now I am new to City and Electra. Currently bike is in excellent condition and I would like to maintain the same.

I need experts advice for the following:

                            1) How frequently (KMS) I need to change Engine oil, Gear Oil, Air filter and service ?

                            2) What Brand of Engine oil, gear oil and Air Filter do you suggest ?

                            3) Should I be using Engine oil 20W50 Grade (3 Liters) and Gear oil (1/2 Liters) 90 Grade ?

                            4) Please suggest a Good mechanic near White field or Marthalli or Indira nagar areas. I can travel little far from these areas for a good mechanic.

                            5) What Tyre pressure is suggested for long ride and city rides?

Any recommendations for a new user are welcomed.

Thanks in advance for all for taking time to answer my quires.

This beauty belongs to my brother , it's a 2009 model . She has done many long trips and still there have been no engine trouble at all . some modifications were done like 55w bulb , free flow exhaust(actually it's the 3rd silencer) and there was LED fog lamps too (now removed ) . Trust me I have raced with a new classic 350 and my bike won (race was done on an empty road ) . it puts a smile on yourface everytime you ride . But the only problems are bad paint quality, rusting parts , exposed wires and bad seats . It's made to handle any terrain , I have done many offroadings on this bike .
Check my video on youtube .

                                Hello Akshith

I am having Electra 350 2012 Model and seriously i will never recommend Bullet to any body Because of so many issue with Bullet. First their parts degrade very soon and they are costly. I understand heavy bikes parts are costly but bullet they are totally worth less. Not understand why RE build cheap quality parts. Every month you have take ur Bull to mechanic for repairing and spend money on its parts and repairing .

                                Think twice before buying bullet
