    i have a question though....
Has anyone tried Extended RD350 handle bar on Electra ?
I mean i just meant to compare which one is more comfortable normal or extended one ?

the one i have is i guess the 'normal' RD 350 handle replica. I felt its comfortable enough for me. Am 174cm high form the soles btw . However; do ensure that your cables are not pulled off when you turn left or right all the way. I had that issue and had to get a longer one fixed at the bullet SVC.

I too have fixed the RD handle bar(I have a classic)

But my electric start works when the handlebar is turned to the right..

Otherwise its ok now...although I still have a slight lower back pain(Which I never had after 26000kms on my CBR250R)

Maybe the seat needs some second look i personally felt that the Classic seat, at least for me, is not very well suited. i drove about 60 km and had a really sore back just from that. Compared to the Electra; the classic was exceptionally quite uncomfortable. my next mod is on the seat for sure! Need something with more cushioning.

Yes. Bucket shaped seats are very comfortable something similar to that of thunderbird stock ones. one of my friend has bucket seats on his classic and they are very much comfortable.

I was a victim of the spring mounted seats....I simply loved how it looks...but later on realized they weren't really comfy..:banghead:

has anyone ordered from here? I'm apprehensive of ordering alloys form the site.
Another question - Has anyone tried to convert their wheels to tubeless ones with an alloy???

If one has shifted to alloy wheels he must shift to tubeless tyres, no point in using TT tyres even after shifting to alloys.

I personally felt that the spoked rims always gave the bike a vintage look, since 'vintage' is what Bullets are all about even after so many years. And they are on the easier side to maintain, a small bend can be rectified by truing whereas if an alloy is bent, its a sorry state of affairs then.

                        But each to his own...

Ordering from the site isn't a hassle. All you have to do is to deposit the required amount of the product into their account and they'll have it shipped to you. A friend of mine ordered a windshield and claimed it was of good quality.

You are right man spokes wheels have got art in them and the famous saying from Late Indian Larry is Alloy Wheels are dead object, here in our country you don't get too much of an option with spokes wheesl you don't get ss spokes you don't get brass nipples, plus ss rims, but if one wants to move to alloys he must move to TL tyres with it.

                            • Exhaust for Bullet Electra TS 2014

Hey guys. My bull has completed around 2300 kms and the second service will be done in around a week. After that I am planning to change the stock silencer. I have considered the following options-

                              i. Sans inc short bottle with glass wool - it seems to have a good bassy sound (as heard on youtube) and the review on the net is good.

ii. A complete free flow punjab exhaust (i have one spare at home that is why it is an option, otherwise i dont want that loud a sound)

iii. A modified stock silencer- A mechanic here can get me a stock silencer with modiifcations for increased sound and thump. The sound wont be too loud. What i understood is that it is stock with some jaalis removed.

iv. Getting my stock silencer modified by removing few jaalis - I would prefer not to touch the stock silencer and would like to keep it as it is.

Personally i dont feel like going for either Option ii and iv. If any one could give me the pros and cons of these options or can suggest any other option. I like a medium bassy sound and thump and not too loud. Thanks in anticipation.

                                hello brother,
please check how changing the silencer will effect the warranty. In most cases if the user modifies his bike in any way that is not recommended by the company, the warranty is gone, which is not good in the long run.
So please check with your service center about the warranty issues, before going for any aftermarket modifications.
I own a R 15 v2 and I'm not even allowed to change a bulb from outside of the service center. It may differ in case if RE. Please check and then do what you feel is best.
If you dont care for the warranty, you can go ahead with the mod.
I would like to thank my legs for supporting me, my arms for being always by my side and my fingers; I could always count on them.
