i also suggest a simple solution.. always take bike cover with you, when ever park it just cover it with the bike cover, it will reduce almost 50% meddling ppl..as if they can't see they can't touchOriginally posted by joyistheworld View Post

I understand that Garware wants GT650R to go head-to-head with Ninja 650R but this is too much!Originally posted by men_in_jean View Post^Chennai Garware showroom has been now shifted opposite to the Adyar Jai Bajaj pro-biking showroom.. (Check for Easwari motors)

Supersports in India
dont think its going to happen anytime soon..i mean the competition might help..as in..if the japs want to catch hold of what seems to be a pretty enthusiastic if not encouraging demand for high end bikes here in the motherland..Originally posted by vinbex View Postwow..thats cool..now i wish honda could get their 600 here..that would make it three on the same go!!!
the litre class bikes have already found a niche..i mean even with the yamahas hondas and suzukis that are in the market, you'll still find premium ducatis and bmws that sell for close to double, not to mention harley davidson as well..so you'll still find ready and available buyers..
legal import of bikes under 800cc is banned in india
the likes of kawasaki, hyosung, harley and now triumph have found their way in by either the ckd route or through other trade agreements, both harley and triumph have assembly plants in india, although the latter hasnt set up dealerships yet..
most people's 1st choice are the inline cylinder bikes that give out more than 125 hp..but souls like me end up with the hyosung as an entry into supersports auto machinery..the other option being a less sporty but amazingly priced kwacker 650..
cant wait for the daytona though..inline 3 cylinder..underseat exhaust..arguably the best track and street bike in its category..
a meaty 7 lakhs ex-showroom..

Met with an unfortunate incident today.
My usual work commute is 15kms within city limits, I was trotting
around at 50k as usual and suddenly a honda activa zipped out of nowhere past me,
the rider of the vehicle slowed down, pulled out his phone from his pocket and started taking pictures without even looking where he is going.
The activa rider was unable to control his bike with one hand and he was swaying around in the middle of the pot-hole filled road, he almost side-swiped a Maruti Swift. I was a bit alarmed and slowed down, tried to pull over to the left, wanted to give him a piece of my mind.
He went straight in and rear ended a BMTC bus being unable to brake with one hand. The rider wasn't wearing a helmet either and had bruises all over his shoulder, palms, knee and side of his face.
Admitted him to the nearest hospital and i got to know he was just 19yrs old, Doc mentioned that he has only cuts, wounds and bruises and no critical injuries.
How do you guys put up with such things? I am not sure how to handle such incidents if anything similar were to happen again.______________________________________

Never ever in the world do that, are your crazy?? such people rider faster so that they can catch you up... Inder bhai marvaoge app!!!Originally posted by inder.cool View PostYou could just sped away from there..this way he would not have got this much time to take out the phone n click pics..

Always slow down to the side of the ride, dont initiate a conversation ofcourse. No need to look at him either, may be you can adjust your gears and check again. Till then he would be done and then get back on track...
Also before stopping check for whom you stopping for, not any tom dick and harry, know the crowd and location, if its not feasible then slow down and keep riding. There is nothing much you can do, the more you run they will try keeping up with you...
Or else ride at zoom passing speeds where they cant catch you but be in speeds limits and observe traffic rules.sigpic
Do not argue with an idiot. He will drag you down to his level and beat you with experience.

That's just a myth... My elder bro's friend who ALWAYS rides his bike without wearing a helmet had 3 accidents in his life and one of it was really severe which took almost 1 month to recover from blood clot in his head and issues in remembering things etc. Even after these incidents he still rides his bike HELMETLESS. There are many people who don't learn from these even in the hard way. May this chap learn from his mistakes.Originally posted by vijith.unnithan View PostNothing you can do, Brat.. there are some who thinks they can multitask while riding.. well he learnt his lesson and hopefully he wont do the same thing again...
