  • re: Hero Impulse ownership experience

I would like to have this bike as a day to day usage one.

So i find it difficult to carry any plastic bags from shops.

Have any of you guys made some mod to have any hook to carry bags? (FYI - the helmet lock under the rear fender wont be good to carry small bags as it may scrub on the tires)

        Hello Dragon Rider

Thanks for the information. I was about to buy it for 85k.
Then I saw your post and gave a call to Sai Motors. saved 10k.

They said lifetime tax is waived off. Don't know how can they do it and others don't.

        Regards
        Vinod

            Hi Vinod,

Even others do it only upon asking for discount repeatedly, I appreciate Sai Motors for maintaining transparency in this regard.
First I got quotation from Sai Motors and enquired with Max Motors but shocked to see tha Max Motors quoted 85K then I put up the quotation of Sai in front of them and got discount..... Here I regret my decision of buying with Max Motors

Didn't find any one yet bro, disappointed with the first service in Max now it is the time to get ready for the 2nd (2000 km done, 1000 more) so thinking to get it done at
            Sai Motors.

Hey sorry to disappoint you pal but I don't have design in pdf format, actually I made this design from the below pic but there are too many curves in that so instead of messing with the fender just went for a simple design. Working on 3D designs for the entire bike (may be after 1 year ) I can send you those in pdf format once I complete.

nice to see many new Impulse owners in thread and keeping it active congrats to all; but on

downside sorry to hear about your bad experiences with Hero ASC's but belive me they are by

far the best in India along with Honda ASC's the worst being TVS...

As most of u are unhappy with the ASC's a few tips which might help you guys:

                                1. always visit ASC when u have free time dont try to adjust in btw a tight schedule or

when in hurry, the guys can fool you with extra charges saying you said so.

                                2. always talk to incharge about his name and other details try to be friendly with him and

also the mechanic who will handle the bike.

                                3. always decide beforehand what you want to be done to the bike on that service and do

specify what you DONT want to be done to the bike, check the back page of the service slip

it has many points which can help decide you.

                                4. when you take the bike after service check it thoroughly and also do check if they have

done any mistakes if so threaten to compalin to higher authorities; also if they give any

excuse about not doing a particular thing you wanted to be done make a scence their let

                                everyone know it.

                                5. and last but not least and probably the most important never change oil at ASC's do it

at local mechanic in front of ur eyes the safest and best way you can later topup it on ur

own as u know which oil was used.
