Just because someone rides to your workshop and you don't see a three pointed star or a rotating propeller, doesn't mean that you treat him any insignificantly. He could not see my face as I was in a helmet but I could see his reaction and attitude. I do see his reaction when I get my cars there..the difference is big enough for me to take my cars somewhere else next time on.

considering the the number of painted surfaces where this might be applied is minimal, the cost is slightly on the higher side. What actually put me off was the attitude of the guy at 3M.Originally posted by devil_rider View Post

Duke 200 intial ride experience.
Completed around 680kms on my Duke 200 aka "The Barracuda" and just loving the whole new experience this bike gives over my previous bike
An upgrade for me from a Karizma to the Duke has been just phenomenal, got to know/experience many new things on the new tech bikes such as the Duke.
- As NV already pointed out there are many onlookers of the Duke, And at many places the owner must be standing near the bike to prevent it from the people.

- During the first 200-250 kms the engine felt a little bit suppressed but now after a fair bit of running, its free and happily revving.
- Pretty smooth acceleration, at times its progressive and at times it gives instant boost(
). - Handling is just SUPERB, just flows into the corner and the fatter and grippy tyres give so much confidence that one just flows into it.
- Considering its light weight, its so much fun to ride in the city.
- At times engine heats up while in traffic, but not a big problem/issue with that. Just the after effects
- The seating position of the bike is made for the city, but for me a jump from a Karizma(which is like sitting on a sofa now
) to this is creating some problems as the knees and toes hurt. But, I would get used to its seating position and this should not be problem in the coming few months. - The Suspension set up on the bike from WP Suspension is leaps and bounds ahead of any Indian manufactured suspensions. Front USD forks just add to the stability of the bike and gives so much confidence to the rider.
- Currently have ridden only till 6k rpm and there are pretty satisfying results. In 6th gear and at 6k rpm the bike does a comfortable 82-84 km/h.
- I personally love the exhaust note, love when it roars

- Apart from 1 or 2 niggles here and there, the bike is just superb.

There is a pretty known person at JM Road, Pune who treats new cars and bikes. A friend of mine got her Chevy Beat treated there and it still looks good after almost two years. Shall check out that option.Never argue with an idiot. He will drag you down to his level and then beat you with experience.

You guys need to talk to the right people to get the right treatment and application of 3M products. I've had fantastic experience working with Venkat Shyam of Autoservice in Bangalore. Any aftermarket chemical / lube / electrical contact spray / washing detergent / rubbing compound / polish - EVERYTHING is 3M.Originally posted by devil_rider View PostWell there are a lot of JERKs in this world..... You can find him on the Duke 200 owner's group page on FB. Link posted a few posts back.Kriss : 15.06.1981 - 11.10.2009

(well the fairing is kinda new
)? Or is there any services for paint restoration? If yes.. to any of the above, count me in.
