Oh no I meant nothing is available here Power parts wise right now...it should release in a week said the KTM Kmarg showroom dealer told me, but I'm guessing by month end it'll all be available for all the cities...they didn't even have the cover for the bike when I took delivery :-/Originally posted by Shubz View PostSpeed, it seems to me, provides the one genuinely modern pleasure.

What power parts are available right away? Sliders definitely is on my list! Let me know if it is available.
joshzma225 - That is the perfect level you are on!
Don't worry until the level goes below min.
rohitoasis - Mine has been at that level ever since I got my bike.

I would love to find out more about the alarm system they are selling for 10-15k!!! Thats mighty expensive compared to what we have here!!! I wonder how many people would consider it an economical option seeing as how the DUKE is already so sweetly priced :-) ...But I feel they should continue the same pricing trend with the Powerparts if they want them to sell well...the way I see it a lotta members here are gonna be buying the crash pads and tail tidy but not so much for the solo seat conversion kit.Speed, it seems to me, provides the one genuinely modern pleasure.

@Rohitoasis Hehe don't mention it man this is the learning process and I'm as paranoid as every other KTM owner here when it comes to their bikes maintenance.Originally posted by rohitoasis View PostPhew.. Whose bike did I see parked at Roopali, FC Road, Pune exactly 1 hour back?
@Joshzma225 You might want to try multiquoting multiple replies together and clubbing your consecutive posts. Posting one after the other is against forum rules (Read #3).Advice is a form of nostalgia.
Dispensing it is a way of fishing the past from the disposal, wiping it off, painting over the ugly parts and recycling it for more than it's worth.

Congos man... Btw even I'm from chennai...Originally posted by devesh38 View PostGot Duke'd today..
Sorry for long post, but cant stop myself posting these.
I am 25 and this is my first bike ever, in-fact this is first bike in my family. I don't have much experience in riding bikes. Till date have not driven more than 200km in my life on a geared vehicle, although i own a Kinetic Nova which I have driven extensively. Few months back i.e. around December, i came across this bike on internet and I immediately fell in love with the bike. Soon found that it was going to be released on 3 Jan 2012. Got excited and started talks at home regarding bike purchase. Got lot of resistance from home. There were arguments like "U haven't driven much,What will u do with such a high power bike", "After all its a 2 wheeler, why you want to go for such a expensive bike". Upon seeing the pics of bike my parents said that "its a racing bike as there is too much clearance between pillion seat and rear Tyre.":S and etc etc. The postponement of bike release and the discussion threads of this bike on xbhp and other forums really helped me a lot in gaining the information required for buttering and informing my parents. Finally after (2)months of persistence i got my parents agreement and they were happy too upon finding that this bike is really gr8 and offers so much compared to other bikes. After getting nod from parents i was double excited.
Now finally the wait is over. I went to chennai KTM showroom to collect the bike today evening..................

Thanks.. I had booked it on feb 1st only. Dont worry you will getting it soon. Expect around 1 month time for delivery. Anything early than that will be bonus for you. And keep calling the KTM guys regularly, i mean the showroom persons, they will keep you updated.Originally posted by rjswaroop2004 View PostCongos man... Btw even I'm from chennai...
