They are supposed to use fully synthetic for the CBR150R. IT should cost around 700, so they definitely put mineral for you. For me the SVC didnt have FS once, they called and asked if they should put mineral, as i had told them to put FS. Told them il give it later and they were ok with it. For draining and putting oil again, 1 litre of oil is required.Originally posted by Prashu_l View Post

Dont need to worry so much ! It wont harm your engine. Its oil after all !! Hehe. You dont have to change it right away, normal FS oil from Honda lasts about 3k km between changes. So for a high revving engine like ours, mineral should be good for around 1.5-2k kms. Though I think 2k would be stretching it. How many kms have you done presently ? Best would be too change it at your 2nd service, if that falls in the next 2k kms, otherwise change it when you get the time ! Also, mineral oil tends to heat up faster, so you might think that the engine is hot ! But thats to be expected. Dont redline her too often and you should be fine for a while !Originally posted by Prashu_l View PostPlease should i change it immediately? does it harm my engine

I have done 1350 kms till date, so will be near to second service which is valid from 3500 -4000 kms....
But anyways, now my blade is butter smooth, pick up is increased a lot, 90 kmph in 3rd gear (still very smooth) .....

A Review after some more riding !
Hye !
Thats a sweeet pic ! The roads look pretty darn amazing ! My odo is at 5.2k ish. Done quite a few trips. Mostly day ones. One to Kasargod (250 odd km), a loop around to the Sharavathi Valley wildlife sanctuary (260kms), to Dharamasthla and back (240 kms) and the big one, to Bangalore and back (840kms) ! Dont have many pics of that, was on a time constraint, but here are some ! Enjoy !
As far as problems go, have had my fairing rattling from the front at around 7k rpm. It rattles at the place where the fairing red touches the headlamp. Its sort of gone now, but will get double sided tape put on. Also have noticed from all these trips, that once the bikes being running for around an hour, and its properly hot, its gets pretty rough. Evening stopping for 5-10 mis doesnt help. And stays rough for a while. I think its, the oil, gets too hot. So my next oil change will be looking for a higher grade FS oil.
I havent babied Duchess at all, been using her to the limit quite a bit ! 10,500 rpm has been seen quite a few times, and you really havent ridden the bike if you havent taken her up there ! Thanks to all the ghats iv been riding, been cornering a fair bit as well. Have only the last half cm on either side, which seems nigh impossible to get to. But maybe on a track hehe. But LOVE the suspension. Its soft enough for the road, to ride hard and not loose the line cause of bumps, yet hard enough to let you feel each and every one of them ! The tyres though, yes, iv managed to reach the limit of the TVS ones a few times. But those times really were under hard hard riding. You have to wait for them heat up, but then all good ! Waiting to upgrade to some better rubber though. Probably when I get sometime to get somewhere near a track hehe.
Thats all from my side ! All owners do post about how your experience so far has been ! Its been a while, come out here and show us what you have been upto ! And lots of pics hehe. Take care Folks !

Loved all the pics but especially this one! Mangalore, I presume?Biking is not about how many Km/h you put on your Speedo. It's about how many miles you put on your Odo. Ride Safe, Ride Long!
