Problem with Honda CBR150R
Hi everyone I am new to this forum. This is my 1st ever post.
My cousin bought a Honda CBR 150R in the month of May this year. His bike was working fine until a week ago he returned from office, parked his bike and after some time he returned back to bike . The bike started but all the electronics like speedo meter, head light, tail lights etc refused to start. As the bike started via self starter that means the battery is working fine. I asked the service centre about the problem they asked to check the fuses in the fuse box. He did the same and it worked. But again after few days the same problem occurred. Has any one faced such problem with their bikes?
Any kind of help is welcomed.
The bike is in Mumbai.
Please also suggest me good honda authorised service centre who have good cbr technicians.
Thank you,
M_Trigger.

Re: Honda CBR 150 R
My bike clocked 8k kms. Today while inspecting brake pads i come to know that very small life left in front pads.( 2k kms )Originally posted by Suraj Sabat View PostFrom my experience, rear: 18k and front: 20-21k.
So i will get total life of 10 k kms for front pads.
Rear brake pads are in good condition.
What is the cost of OEM brake pads for cbr 150?
Has anyone tried cheaper brake pads?? Like p220's brake pads for cbr250
Does pulsars brake pads will direct fit to cbr150?Live To Ride✌

Re: Honda CBR 150 R
Guys.. I am having a problem with my baby blade. It first happened to me 3 days ago i parked her and went to my friend's home. But when i get back on her and hit the self start button. There was nothing that happened. I mean.. the self did'nt reacted at all. I was scared. I then rechecked is headlamp and turn indicators working. But yes they were working perfectly. I again tried to start her. But no responce. Self was totaly silent. Then i turned off the keys and on. Now the self worked. I dont understand what the problem is! But same happened to 3 more times. Did anyone of you faced such a problem? Or have any idea what is wrong with her?

You can try checking the fuses in the fuse box.Originally posted by vivekbtr27 View PostGuys.. I am having a problem with my baby blade. Something similar happen to my cousins bike too. But the difference is that except the self start no other electronics worked. We showed it to the authorised service centre, they checked the wiring and changed a relay and now it's working fine.
The authorised service centre took almost a weeks times to rectify the cause.

Re: Honda CBR 150 R
Hello guys!
Can anyone tell me if this bike is easily available in showrooms in Kolkata, or their is some huge waiting period? And also, is the CBR150R a sensible buy now? Will the production stop as that of the CBR250R?
I'M planning to buy this bike next month! Please suggest!

Re: Honda CBR 150 R
CBR250R is still being produced. Honda have no plans to replace 250R. Now, regarding your query, have you tried R15S or R15V2? They are good bikes with great demands in market. R15 have few problems like too much aggressive seating position and low service intervals.Originally posted by kush013 View PostHello guys!

Re: Honda CBR 150 R
I have test rode the r15 v2, but the pillion seat is almost non existent on that. The r15s has a good pillion seat, but it looks like the supersports bike upfront and a commuter from rear. In this purely my opinion. The cbr is betters in the looks department!Originally posted by chidafn View PostCBR250R is still being produced. Honda have no plans to replace 250R. Re: Honda CBR 150 R
Well, if you like CBR150R, then do go for it. You have Honda's reliable engine. You can always order spares directly from Honda. Also, as per rule, company has to manufacture the spares till 8 yrs of discontinuation of that model.Originally posted by kush013 View PostI have test rode the r15 v2, but the pillion seat is almost non existent on that.
