I've driven the stock MRF's for 14k and its seems there's life for 3-4k still left in them ... Dry grip is good enough though the tire is losing out on the wetter days... But M thinking of going for the Pirelli Sport Demon at the rear soon....

I Agree... the CBR looks better.. though it lacks the low end torque.... but the CBR does attract more eyes ..! Feels Good...

To get the high beam flasher, and the engine kill switch do we need to buy the switch gear from outside or the Honda dealership will get it? And is the mod very complicated? And will it void the warranty?

I've clocked 41500 KMS on my stock MRF tyres. Still has good grip no skidding. but its leaking air. I am changing it to MRF Revz Radial.

I'M planning to buy this bike next month! Please suggest!
CBR 150 is still on sale and is a great buy. I am using it from 4 yrs and is still a pleasure to ride bike. Yamaha R15 1.0/2.0 feels like Kinetic Luna after riding CBR

            Hi Guys,

Got problem with ball racer kit of my CBR 150r. This is my fourth ball racer kit and it is damaged within almost 4000 kms the stock one lasted till 20000 kms. After that I've to change for every 6000 kms. Can anyone suggest anything. My mechanic friend suggested me some aftermarket ball racer kit.

Btw, i just heard that the maintenance cost of the cbr150 is quite high, and some parts cost even more than the cbr 250! Is it true? And how is the parts availability?

Parts availability was never an issue for me. I ride around 10000 kms/year and the mainainance cost goes around 3000-4000/year. FYI CBR 250 spares costs more than that of 150. So chill. Go for AMC you'll save some money. The wear and tear depends on the road conditions and your riding skills.

2 years ago I asked my service advisor to change my switchgears with the one that comes with CBR250. But he turned me down saying its too complicated and will void the warranty. So i kept as it is. I guess the new CBR150 has it.

Rear brake pads are in good condition.

What is the cost of OEM brake pads for cbr 150?
Has anyone tried cheaper brake pads?? Like p220's brake pads for cbr250
Does pulsars brake pads will direct fit to cbr150?
OEM brake pads comes around Rs 685 for front and around Rs 600 for rear. The OEM pads are incredibe. Don't go for any cheaper one. At the end of the day its a life saver.

                    Okay thanks for that info!
I have another question. I'm about 5'8". Would I have a problem with the seat height? . I just checked it... And its around 1,120 mm.
I'm quite comfortable with the r15 which has a saddle height of 800mm. Will the cbr be to high for me to handle in city traffic?

I stand 5'8" too. There's no problem with the seating position its way more comfortable than R15. My cousin owns R15 2.0 and he always get shoulder and back ache whenever we go on roadtrips however I am always comfortable with no pain. He envy me and always say CBR was a great decision. CBR has quite impressive handling in city. Just the high rpm gear shifting is where R15 takes over CBR in city traffic.

                      Happy Riding

Bro i think u should try tapper roller bearing type racer.

                              Main point is
You have to find exact dimensions of stock bearings.
not a hard racer, but love to drive.
