yup, that's the dark side of Honda. . . They offer they best bikes and good quality stuffs but they miss out something along with that and also for some bikes, we really need to wait for a longer period of time until we get those spares. . .

look for pirelli demon tyres, they are a little costly though but will come into fitment for your bike, checked it out day before yesterday. . . It gives you a smooth ride, great cornering capability and good traction, . . One of my friend had it on his 220. . . He said it costed him around 4500, but you need to find a good dealer to get it, it's not available everywhere. . .

He is already having problem with wet grip and you are suggesting an even softer compound which behaves badly on wet surface for him ? Not good advice mate. I think ceat or dunlop might have good tires that will perform good in wet. Don't remember the model names.

                Dudes,

I dont want a soft coumpound tyre. My present MRF Zapper is giving good handling and cornering in dry condition but I am not getting much confident through wet surface. Already I checked the MRF MOGRIP models, but they dont have a suitable model for CBR.

Precisly that's why i advised to look into ceat vertigo and dunlop tuffgrip , the tuffgrip comes at 120 and 140. Not sure about 130, never seen them in that cross section, but i guess the 140 should fit without problem. Do look into that.

Otherwise i am happy with the loud sound.

Both Ceat and Dunlop are not having tyres bigger than 120/70 - 17 . For CBR , we need 130/70-17.

I may not be completely aware of what kind of spark plug CBR uses but I guess it has only one spark plug and it costed you 640 INR? Just for heck of comparison, I changed my P150's spark plugs in 130 INR (2 in numbers).

                            4. chain Lubrication period ? can i get it done from the local mechanic near my home ?

Once in 500 kms. Better to buy Yamalube, motul chain cleaner and do it yourself. It take max of 40-45 min.

I have provided my comments in bold for the above.

                            Hello neo biker,
I am planning to buy a lube oil . one thing i dont understand from your post.motul chain cleaner is the lube oil ? or it is used to clean the chain before doing (yamalube) lubrication ?

I have never done chain lubrication myself. so i welcome if any tips on doing lubrication...
