Yes, based on the total volume.
For me it cost 970/- for both the tyres . The actual price is somewhat about Rs 300 more, but they had a promotional offer on that day.

I have something to ask XBHPians..

          1st

From day one i am putting Bharat speed petrol for my 150R. Speed 1ltr- 75.50 rs and normal 65.50 rs in chennai. i calculated the mileage twice. it comes around 40 km/lr with Bharat speed petrol. now i am thininking to switch over to normal petrol ... should i change or not.. 10 rs difference is not a problem. if there is no difference then i would use normal pertrol itself. one of my duke friend told me that he is supposed to use premium petrol for his duke as per the manual. i dont think such things are mentioned in our 150R manual..
if someone throw some lights on it then would be useful for me...

          2nd..

Planning to go for long ride .. total around 1000 kms. my 2nd service is due in 2 weeks. should i service and go for a long ride or after long ride should i go to SVC ? which is good for engine ?

          Thanks,
          Alwin Raj

            For 1st,

They said the same thing to me when I took the delivery. But I filled the Speed petrol after the first service. Nothing had changed. I fill only Speed when going for long tours/ So its ur decision!

            For 2nd,

If your using the bike daily, take for the long ride(if 1000km sum up the return journey) and then do the service.

1st: Doesn't matter actually. CBR's engine is made tough enough to drink normal petrol. If you can afford premium petrol then go ahead mate. Else, normal petrol wll do fine. Changing fuel suppiler will make a difference though, like from BP to HP or Shell or Indian Oil.

2nd: Your second service is with respect to time or odometer reading? If your odo reading after the trip crosses the mark as mentioned in the manual then get the servicing done first. Else, fill the fuel and ride on. I prefer servicing after the ride as the bike gets fresh oil, wash and polish and other subtle services. Just check the chain slackness, tyre pressure, lights before you go ahead with the trip. However, if you feel that the engine oil is worn out and won't hold on for your trip then get the servicing done.

Is anyone else facing the rear view mirror problem?
I lost the rubber screw caps on the first week itself. And I have to tighten the screws after every 2-3 days!!

                          I've also faced this prob...
instead of using the screw driver.. just rotate ur mirror itself to tighten it.. this can withstand atleast a month..

Does anyone know if we can change the electrical switches to those of 250R ?
can we get the pass beam switch and the ignition switch as an addon? Will it void the warranty?
