I received your copy of Manual. But its the User Manual.
But we are all looking for the service manual.

I guess there's no copy of it available over the web.
The limiter kicks in @11,500 rpm just within a second after the first shift..And, that's where the fun begins !! ;)

New Honda CBR150R; Expected Price, Design, Features
cant comment on its authenticity but should i get it or wait
It's better if you wait. Many new bikes will be launched in the next few months, hopefully. CBR150 is not VFM. My experience has been extremely disappointing. The lack of engine kill switch and pass light are not the major issues. Major issue is the tyres; I have the TVS ones, and they suck. MRF ones are better, but over my research lasting more than a month, some users have had problems with those too. Will buy a Michelin tyre for the rear, but after paying so much, I am aggravated. I will never recommend any Honda product to anyone now; their response has been pathetic. They want me to go to TVS and deal with them. Now somebody tell these fools that I paid money to them and not TVS.

Anyone who can tell me the selling price of 3000kms old CBR150 tyres?

        hello xbhpians .......
had my first servicing done.... service engineer says there is no need for a air filter replacement in cbr 150 as against the 250 one . Hence he cleaned it up and delivered the same to me.
charges>>>>>>> 696 for engine oil, 200 for chain greasing and 150 for consumables plus taxes == 1089 altogether
changes felt>>>>> lugging reduced, engine more gruntier(it tends to speak more), reduced braking experience( rear one, might be a temporary one)
any post 1st service suggestions by fellow xbhpians are always welcome.....

Any cbr150r owners have wobble issues. Mine is just due second service. There's an issue of rear wheel wobble. It's not there always though. But there definitely is a 100% chance of it happening in every ride. Initially I had to solve it by braking to a halt and then resuming. Now I just brake HARD ( rear wheel) and resume. I know it's something to do with the rear wheel, but can't figure it out. Should I :
            Get bearings checked?
            Get swing arm checked?
            Disc bent?
            Help would be greatly appreciated.

Add below checks to the above list:
              1. Tyre health & shape (I assume tyre pressure is monitored)
              2. Wheel Rim shape

I still don't get how braking hard(rear) resolves the issue temporarily.

The tvs tyres seem to be proper. Treads are not worn either. About the braking, I can't figure it out either. The wobble always happens AFTER I run a bad patch of road. That's why I kinda ruled out tyre damage, because if that were the case wouldn't it be constant? I'll get the svc to check all the points nonetheless. Now that I mentioned it, the issue came up only AFTER the 1 st service.... Hmmm.

Usually, during first service Oil-Filter is replaced together with Engine-Oil; as too much fine particles end up suspended in engine oil during run-in (break-in) period.

Air-Filter(not sure which kind in CBR150R) might need only cleaning as replacement intervals for air-filters will be much high.

Rear breaking efficiency should return to normal after couple of days usage, otherwise inspect the cause.

Go for Motomax dashboard polish. 100ml Rs. 95. Using the same for my 250R. You will get showroom quality finish.

Was there any update after the 2012 launch?

And will there be any future launch for the same segment (ie 150cc).

you cannot clean the air filter! it must be replaced! costs only 325! and yes one can replace it around 16000km as mentioned in the owner manual! however you can change it if you live in a dusty area!

guys i have an advice for those who crib about the pass light! you can just mildly press the upper-lower beamer!repeat it in a soft manner! and yes it works perfectly fine for me ! never had that issue! however at times i do miss the engine kill switch! especially at stop and go traffic!

i have used it but then it just covers it though the finish it awesome! any other product? that actually cleans and protects it?

I think you should have used the Honda oil for first two services atleast! As for the grunting, are you talking about the roughness of the engine or the hard gear shifts?

This engine is first of all not silky smooth and it changes the note after 8k and its awesome after 8k really. If you dont like that thundering sound after 8k rpm, then I dont know what to say! Also your friends bike should have the note change after 8k. Or he is riding only below 8k all times

This engine is rumble in nature and I love it! I expect silky smooth in gear shifts only. I passed 15k and still have hard gear shifts in first and second gears.

Could you tell me what tyre you got with your Honda CBR 150R? I went to the showroom and they said the bike which I will be getting will be having TVS tyre, I even asked them if they will provide me with MRF Zapper Q tyre, they said the bikes comes in a lot (production) and all of them have default tyre ie TVS ATT 230. So they are not sure, they said only 1% guarantee they can give that i will get the MRF tyre.

I am really confused! What should I do now? The TVS tyre, are they any good when compared to MRF Zapper Q tyre?

This is really eating my brains! Please help me out guys!
