Everyone will have different claims. But how does the top speed matter if there wont be much difference between the top end of these bikes?Originally posted by win32dotex View Postguys, which has faster topspeed? cbr 150fi? r15? p200NS? P220 Dtsi?

According to Autocar the top speed of CBR and 220 is same at 135kmph true speed.. I have myself 138kmph speedo indicated.. We have had 144kmph reported on speedo by others on this thread.. Anyway just the top speed isnt the USP of this bikeOriginally posted by Newrider88 View Post220 DTSI is the fastest.Life is an Open Road For me..

First day as an Owner!!!

Though, was little hesitant about the VFM, Happy to the core for my selection!!
Rode 35 kms altogether. 25 in daytime and 10 in night time.
She is performing awesome! Before going any further, I think I may exaggerate the things a little bit cuz' being a novice to performance section, but am already awestruck!!
. Anyways, you guys sure know to rate the performance from my words.
About the Baby:
She is good,
nah... as a critic., must say okay!
Went to the RTO office, at the railway crossing, at the juice shop and once even while driving, people are asking me about the bike. Felt proud.
A head-turner for sure, at-least in my town, and am sure in cities questions will be regarding the performance. But......,The foot-pegs, Seat material, alloys, levers... a little more care could have been given., but only an eye intended in looking for the faults would find this. Otherwise, for a novice.., i would say.... Perfect!!!

Ride:
Quality of ride is again awesome. With all these days me riding a 125cc and 100cc bikes., I hardly felt the feeling of travelling on graveled roads with her.
Though, getting a little fatigue in my lower back and wrists, may be due to my height.,
(the handle is little far and it makes me stretch). Otherwise,
Performance:
Felt in love with the exhaust note at the first crank!
Its like a hard bass note coming from deep down the throat. Even all my local friends who looked at the her, complimented her voice first!!
Could feel her pulling even with that low rpms. She idles a little below 2k though manual says it should be around a lil above 1.5k. Felt heat waves in the calf muscles when riding her above 45kmph, but I think its normal for a new heart!
And guys, I need feedback on this part....
Smooth acceleration, let the rpm rise till 5k, and upshift. Downshift to reduce speed. Is this way of running-in correct??
All I could reach was 3rd gear within town limits and 4th in outer limits of town. For once reached 6th and she glides at ~55kmph with around ~4k rpm!
. Dunno, if am sure, but will double check again when chance comes.
Night ride:
Light power is well and good. Though didn't reached any highways, checked it in town's outer limits. I always ride with low beam, and with her when I flash to high beam, the oncoming private buses (read 'Dons of the Roads') responded!
Am happy!!
Did all poojas and sacred rituals with her today! Kinda married!!

Again, me not such experienced to compare bikes, but as a user and one who has shelled out a 1.3k on her., am completely satisfied!!

For all your expectations, I had time to just click a few pics with my mobile camera, and i'll attach those. Will try for better pics and a ride video if possible.

This was actually a dumb click!

EDIT:
Back is paining! Need a good sleep!

Hi Guys! Am actually new to the forums, to be honest I joined only for this baby. The guys at JSP Honda say that they have a Red and White version ready for me today, but my choice is the Black and Green one! So I think I will have to wait for a week or so more. I feel so unlucky
. Anyway I was wondering how to go ride in the bike. It would be great if someone gives me some initial to-do lists for this baby.

As far as riding concern CBR 150R is a very comfortable bike for both rider and pillion. If you have ever ride similar bike then you will enjoy riding this. Initially for some days u might have back pain and wrist pain but it will go away eventually. Finally i will suggest that just feel comfortable and sit comfortable as per your convenience and enjoy the ride.

If you would be able to provide a split up of the bill, like spares, labor ... Think it'll be easy for us!Originally posted by mulli84 View PostFor other owners a query, Ive given the bike for the first service and the quoted bill is 1450.1000 for service and 450 for teflon coat. IS this correct?

My bad! Anyways am Akhil from Chennai and I have been riding a Karizma 2003 model for a very long time I mean a long time! The Bike is practically a part of me now. if you know what I mean. And I am pretty sure that I wont get back pain because I feel comfortable in arching my back! Anyways I just wanted to know how to initially ride the Bike, how to break-in the new engine. That's All. By the way the Sales Manager said that the Black Baby is on transit. So will hit back the Forum with some good news.
