As far as my bike concern its giving me around 40-43 KM-PL average in the city. I am constantly riding it within 80 KPH speed. I applied full tank method to calculate the average. I haven't yet tried it on highways, and hopeful to get good average there too. Planning for a ride from Bangalore(Karnataka) to Krishnagiri(Tamilnadu) which is around 170-180 KM up and down.Originally posted by himanshu.nayak View Postlooks like most of the owners have got there 1st servicing done....so guys tell me!!...how much average you are getting on the bike...and can someone tell me how much a tankpad will cost me for cbr150...

Can you post the link to what you are saying . I really doubt that R15 V2 is that slow even after considering some deviation in speed (speedo/VBOX)Whatever doesn't kills me only makes me stronger....

In the editing window Click the "Globe with a chain" (bottom row, 8th from right) kinda symbol and enter the URL in the pop up window. Hope this'll do good!Originally posted by manoj.mishramonu11 View PostGuys,
Can anyone help me add a Url to this post. I am unable to add the URL of the yet another review.
The limiter kicks in @11,500 rpm just within a second after the first shift..And, that's where the fun begins !! ;)

The best practice is to change the oil filter every time you change your engine oil. Especially during the run-in, a lot of metal particles are generated due to engine wear in the initial stages; to get rid of these it is all the more important to change the filter during first service.Originally posted by manoj.mishramonu11 View PostNo they didn't change the oil filter and as they told its not required to change the oil filter in the first servicing.

AFAIK, Honda is always short on availability of oil filters hence the lame excuses (change not required, etc.). I would suggest you to change it asap.
I changed oil n oil filter for my R15V2 once at 400 kms and then again during 1st service.

SVCs will tell you anything to skimp on work. Changing the oil filter is extremely necessary, as explained by TeeJayy below. Do go and create some noise at your SVC. Btw, the owner's manuall has coupons for the various services your bike has to undergo. There is usually detailed info on the jobs needed to be done at each service behind these coupons. Check it out!Originally posted by manoj.mishramonu11 View PostNo they didn't change the oil filter and as they told its not required to change the oil filter in the first servicing.
