The above message was posted yesterday! Strange no messages after that.

    Anyways,
Guys, yesterday while riding, I felt her front part, (felt it in handlebar) going up and down like wobbling vertically. I think you can get me. I thought it was something for time and even today I am experiencing that. Can any guess what might be the problem?? Wheel, suspension, forks or some kinda imbalance?? Am blank in checking for symptoms, so it would be helpful if some can point out what to check for!!
You Better take it to the nearest Honda Service Center and tell them about the problem.

Even my girlfriend has fallen in love with the machine. To have that power between your legs. Damn it. I will post pics and a first impression soon. Until then Akhil (MadMax2030) is officially a member of the CBR family. Thanks for everyone who clarify my doubts. Am gonna keep my baby locked up for a few days since it has not been registered yet. Hopefully will get it registered soon.
Congrats Akhil for your CBR.....enjoy your ride and ride safe!!!

    • Guys,

I had a small Accident with my CBR last Sunday. That day it rained heavily and the road were full of mud. I went to a medical store to get some medicine and i parked the bike in front of the shop and when i turned back to go to the shop my cbr feel down and when i saw it....my heart was completely broken. There were some injury to it like:

      1. The gear shift lever bent and i was unable to shift the gears.
      2. The Handle bar alignment got changed.
      3. There are Scratches on left handle, clutch, left mirror and saree guard.

then some how i dragged the gearshift lever outward and able to switch gear and immediately take the bike to the Service center where they responded promptly and get the problem rectified in 30mins and they charged nothing for the work.

Thanks got there were no scratches on the body. My main motive to post this experience because i want all you guys be careful in these rainy season and just keep the below points in mind.

      1. Please don't park your bike in such places where there is a chance the bike can slip
      2. Please don't park it on a mud road. If you have no option then after parking check properly whether you bike got parked properly or not.
      3. Always choose a parking place to park your bike.
      4. Don't park it in a non parking zone or any road side. there is high chance of tow van taking it away.
      5. Don't park your bike in a small area where there are chances of other bike can hit your's.
      6. While Parking keep proper distance from other bikes.

        Hope she's okay now!

And, yeah me too feeling like bike will fall when parked mostly. I usually double check the parked bike by myself shaking it.

The limiter kicks in @11,500 rpm just within a second after the first shift..And, that's where the fun begins !! ;)

Hey bro, i've been facing the same issue from past 20 months or so on my R15. nobody could find out what was the reason for that vertical wobbling, and the problem still persists. i'm eagerly waiting to hear from you if you can get it solved. please do keep us updated about this problem. thanks in advance.
A crash on d road may kill d biker n d bike, but d relationship btwn d bike n d biker never dies.

Its only next to d relationship btwn d mother n her baby.

20 Months?? You should have consulted the ASC, right.? So, you are saying the problem is not yet identified to be associated with a reason! That's sad, at least for us!!

I will be getting to my ASC tomorrow. Lets see what they have to say.
But, today on further driving her just to know more on this., I have found that, the oscillation comes only in the speed range of 50-60, and is more severe during deceleration . So, is that the same you encounter??

faulty coneset could be the issue. ask ur ASC to check it out. Also ask them to check the forks

                  • Today went for a drive to check the bike after first service. Went to ECR and finally got some free road. Took the bike close to 7k, but the bike is too hard to move up after that. As Nithesh said earlier, its rough. Have to slowly try to vary the rpm`s.There is no hard gearing while upshifting but while downshifting there is problem in changing of gears. But the engine is smooth in whatever gear.

Had numbness and pain only in right hand wrist. I dont know why?? Crouching only relieves the pain and its fun to ride.

i have had the mechanic check the coneset, wheels, tyre, fork, and what not.. you name it, i have got it checked in front of my own eyes, actually spent entire day in service centre to get it resolved. i got it checked from so many different mechanics, but no use. they say, everything is fine. but still the problem persists. this happens only at low speeds. i dont have any probs at high speeds. and it does affect cornering to a certain extent. not much though.

When was the last time you inspected/changed the Fork Oil?

it was around 6k kms back. changed both fork oil seal (was damaged) and oil. how often does it need to be changed?

btw, myself on my R15 and my friend on his cbr 150r had been to hogenakal falls last saturday. it was a total rip fest for us. it performed superb on the highways and state highway corners. it lacked the initial punch big time but has got very good roll on acceleration once you are speeding at above 100's. we both of us will be riding out every now and then. will try it for a long run next time.
