And sure there wont be a revised model of CBR 150 R like the R15 for two years minimum atleast! And if a person is not buying a bike for just the switchgears, I dunno wat to say!

P.S: There are more skilled persons outside than in the SVC!
Nice mate, who and where did he got it done in Blr. Any photos to Share?

    • I call my CBR "Beast" and it's been a month i am riding it. Got it serviced at 550kms in 5 days and till now my ODO shows around 1500kms. Thanks to this thread, i got to know, why there is a clinged sound from the rear of this bike coming. Will check it as soon as i will reach home today. The SVC people dont even know such sounds are coming or not. That CBR specialised mechanic was almost deaf is hearing that sound and says, "This is usually a user fault in hearing".

Yes, Gears are bit spooky at times when it skipped the gear change while riding.

Learnt few things about riding my beast on this thread... First gear pick up from bumps, Smothness after 7k rpms and more.

Again Thanks to the team and support here at XBHP... Love everyones experience...

      Regards
      Vicky

Is Bangalore getting exclusively Thailand versions of the bike in India?

              • Hey, I am still getting that clingy noise from the rear. i think it is of the Chain being Loose... How can i check, from where the sound is coming as the so called Honda specialized mechanic was very polite in making me understand that there is no noise sir and this is your fault..

I have no number to contact Honda for complaint, or an email id to shoot them an email.

I still love the performance of my bike till date except for the "Chun Chun" sound which is coming..

What should i do.. Please suggest..

No brother, I am from bangalore, I got the indian version. But I was told by the CBR trained mechanic that Engines are manufactured in Thailand, frame & assembly is done in India.

I got the same cling noise, possibility is that the due to vibration after some RPM your silencer will be hitting against it's metal cover. Your silencer protector rubber is not there. That was the cling noise in mine. Still I am hunting for that part with Honda ASC. It's not a big problem though. Silencer protector rubber will be between the silencer and it's metal cover.

Check if its from the locking pin of the rear footrest scratching the silencer cover.
It had even left a scratch mark in the cover, in my case.
The limiter kicks in @11,500 rpm just within a second after the first shift..And, that's where the fun begins !! ;)

Also the silence cover seems to be a dirt lover. Once I touched that cover with my greasy hands and the grease is still there even after a lot of cleaning..

And Yes the engines are imported from Thailand and that contributes to the high price of the bike.

I have checked that part, The part was available at the ASC but it was intact in my case. The rubber part which you talked about in previous posts."I have read almost last 40-50 pages of this thread". My issue is with Chain "I think". it keeps on getting loosened after every few days. I dont ride rash "But yes, Fast", No hurry in pickup, smooth start. Still that noise is bugging me... Bike is Totally a beast on the road but few things always make you feel different and make you uneasy both.

Have you ever heard of a Nut being loose and it keeps on banging the near surfaces making chun chun sound. I am getting similar sound...

The mechanic.. Oooppss.. CBR specialised Mechanic told me that it is the sweet sound of Chain, which is to my best knowledge is not the reason. Don't know what to do????
