This happens due to two reasons...
    1. Fairings are not aligned to the spec
    2. Clip-on on the right side needs to be positioned little inwards (towards the rider)

If you check if both the clip-ons are positioned same, you are bound witness, they're not aligned towards the same position.

Note - These are applicable & my observation with CBR 250R; thought it might help to atleast identify the issue & hence posted.

We are fully satisfied with our product, and I hope no one'll deny on that...
All we curb about is the poor customer care of Honda, and we are trying to help ourselves on that....
Even the problem that I am speaking from a couple of posts back is only after first service last wednesday. Before that, am sure this handle bar problem was not existing!!

      Thanks for those points.
But, the hand stops at the tank's side wall and not touching the fairing at any chance, and can the fairing still be the culprit.??
      Anyways, I'll check on those.

        • Even i noticed a few glitches in the body work. The right fairing has a gap of around 0.3-0.5 inches between the tank and itself while it is not there for the left fairing. Does this issue exist in anyone's bike or should i bring it to notice of the service center?

Other than this everything is working fine for me till now.

If you feel this is OT then please feel free to report the post, the mod will delete it and iam okay with it,i cannot PM everyone about this. But a forum member who i know a little about shouldnt be cheated this way, I mean paying 1.3 lakhs is not easy. Isnt there any other way out? i read couple of posts back that mails are also not being answered.
Yeah some points are there like the visual ones.(switch gear) Im totally raged because of the absence of pass light switch. There is a lot need for that switch in state highways. But for the engine part, im happy and its too early to comment on it. The bike needs to be ridden a lot for its technical judgement.

Like I said, those observations were noticed with CBR 250R. Fairing misalignment happened after a fall & the right turning were horrible with front cowl also gone to a toss.

Clip-on misalignment was noticed on a friend's (xBhpian, so can't quote whose it is ) C250R; but it wasn't as bad as unable to turn or the clip-on touching the tank etc, but, if the palms were holding the clip-ons casually, the hand WILL touch the tank for sure.

Its all okay, since Neevarp says you all are satisfied with the product. All these things shouldnt matter. Moving on.

You have got around 5.5-6 litres of petrol in tank because the first bar when starts to blink indicates reserve fuel which is around 3.4 litres.

                                1. Properly warm up during cold starts. Idle till, at-least 1 bar pops up in temperature indicator.
                                2. You can even rev the engine but Never lug the engine.
                                3. Avoid sudden acceleration at least till initial 500kms (as stated by the manual)
                                4. Try changing oil at 200kms, and then at service intervals.
                                5. Clean and Lube your chain, after water cleaning, muddy rides, and every 500kms
                                6. Maintain correct tire pressure.
                                7. Check coolant level, brake oil levels daily, at-least during run-in as the bike is subjected to sudden problems.
                                8. Avoid, pro longed operation at same RPM during run-in.
                                9. Avoid slow speed operations too during run-in
                                10. Use proper grade, good quality fuel.

And, thank Xbhp for the knowledge it had given you
                                and...., I have thanked already!!

My ODO has reached 250 now.. i wanna change the oil. did u change it by urself or u took it to ASC. If so, it dint count as ur first service rite..?

And as per service manual, my first service should be at 750 - 1000 kms.. but i see people giving their first service at 500 or even less .. Why should do like that.. Hope honda shud hav done enough R&D and said that the first service can be done at 750..
