    Hello fellow Ceeberers!
I will be getting my Vibrant Orange baby blade day after tomorrow, a big thanks to everyone on this thread and xbhp for guiding on what bike to buy. I have been a lurker for a long time. Considered every bike from CB Trigger to Duke 200, settled on baby blade. Needed a bike urgently, I am aware that new bikes will be launched soon and I hope I won't be regretting my decision to buy Cbr150r. Most probably I won't, it is an all rounder, Duke was cancelled because I will be riding in traffic a lot and I prefer being safe and will always try to wear my Spartan Icarus and Perseus along with Scoyco gloves, and the heat from engine means extreme discomfort. R15 was cancelled because of practicality, I needed some comfort and usable pillion seat. The recent Karizma pics were relieving. :P

    Keep the thread alive guys!

Nice clicks, I was thinking about red too, but decided on orange. Is that a Vega helmet, I read that they are not that good, Studds is better in quality. I bought a Studds Scorpion myself and used a Ninja before that. Sturdy helmets.

        Update-
Hey, so I got my Baby Blade today, and I love, superior to both Pulsar200 and Apache180rtr, my previous bikes. Acceleration is a bit slow initially, buy make it squeal and scream and in seconds you'll be at 80, without realizing you are at that speed. 1st gear from neutral sometimes requires a nudge, otherwise gears are smooth. Hardly any vibes, didn't push it much though. Breaking is much better than Pulsar200, Apache was good but Cbr is better.(non ABS one)

Now the juicier part, on my way to the dealer, I saw two abominations, no offense in case they are xbhp and read this, a duke 200, painted white and blue with fluorescent green frame! Yuck! Next, black R15, don't know whether it was V1 or V2, with Orange Cbr's paint schemes and stickers! Horrible. :P

Are the accelerator cables stuck by any chance?
            Got a $5 head? Get a $5 helmet.

no... so do you mean that it is abnormal... ? what should be the idling rpm ?

Does that happen when engine is cold? Or after it's running (engine temps at 3bars)?

If it's the former... No issues... Rpms go high while engine is cold... But if it's adequately heated and still idles at 2k then get it checked at ASC.

Its not normal for a warmed up engine. It should ultimately come down to 1200-1400 range after warming up.

I remember reading this somewhere not in Xbhp that this is the normal idling for the fireblade, I don't think it's anything abnormal, I guess it comes as stock, just check with SVC guys or other CBR150R ownes. . .

                    Cheers!!!

Then its fine guys. On most Honda/Hero bikes, its 1.2-1.4k, hence my reply. If its normal, then awesome! Sorry for increasing OP's heartbeat!

On my bike it's around 1.8k, this bike is different frm other honda bikes. A higher idle seems normal as it is a high revving engine, also, low low end torque. 1.2 will make the engine sluggish. Even now it takes time to get going in first, but redline it, and you can hit 70 in second at around 11 k.

In traffic, I shift to first below 25kmph, and second at 40kmph fr comfrtable cruising, 6-7k rpm. Haven't used 5th n 6th at all in 3 days and 105kms. Will hit a highway soon and test it. In Apache180, it was first below 18 and second below 30.
