even cbr150 might have an idle screw no biggie.. however again \"however\" once you start the engine whatever you have set it to the ECU will reset it again and get it back to your standard idle...

btw why would your friend want to change the idle rpm ??

Also i am facing issues while shifting from day one.
        Before 1st service
It was very hard to find the neutral
        After 1st service
The engineer worked on it and now it was some what easier to find the neutral but another issue came into existance, sometimes the gear would jam while shifting up or down(mostly shifting down from 4th gear or 3rd gear) so i have to release the clutch and try again to make it work.
        After 2nd service
The engineer said the chain was loose and he fixed it. Now finding the neutral is not a problem but the shifting issue is still there mostly shifting down. Also i noticed sometime shifting takes time for instance i shift up and there is a 1second time-gap till that click sound comes.
        anybody faced this?

Two pointers he has given me -
        1. keep ur babyblades a single hand drive, atleast till 1.5 k km
        2. Gear shifting to be slow and forceful.

Working ok for me so far. Let me know when you find a solution.
Hi guys! I have done 16000 kms. my bike is 1year 11months old. In my experience this problem has no solution. After every service, the problem gets fixed for 3 or 4 days. and then eventually creeps back in. I have tried changing oil to SHELL 10w40, that also doesn\\\\\\\'t have any difference on gears. The only suggestion I can give is practice and get used to it.
If you have to downshift multiple gears at the same time, then downshift one gear and get the \\\\\\\"click sound\\\\\\\", then downshift again and get the click sound. do this in quick succession, then you will not miss the gears.

          Hey!

So I just gave my bike for servicing, and it\'s the first paid service. I was quoted 1250rs as standard paid service charges, plus 760 for oil change, which used to be 504 earlier. they\'re saying the price has increased. Please reply urgently as to what you guys have been paying for paid servicing.

          Thanks!

              Hey,

I do have the same issue. the work around I use is Double Clutch. You do that in very quick succession it will switch smoothly.

              Take sometime to get it!.

                Hey all,

I bought new CBR 150R and I have crossed 1000km. After 1st service I am trying to go more than 70kmph but I couldnt.

The bike is giving different sound that it cant go further after 75kmph in 6th gear.
Is it because new bike and the engine has not been set in 70kmph?

Also would like to hear when you guys will change gear in CBR 150r?
I go in 1st gear till 15 to 18kmph and then 2nd gear up to 33kmph and 3rd gear till 45kmph and 4th gear till 55kmph and after 65kmph 6th gear.
Is this right? If i try to got beyond the mentioned limit the engine is giving different sound. Feel like it is vibrating.
Please share how you guys do the gear shift in your CBR 150r bike.

Please advise how to tune my new bike to good and long life condition.

                Thanks

Hi Saravanakumar, Always shift with respect to rpm. 1st and 2nd gears are a bit short, hence shifting between 4000 to 5000 rpm should be fine. Rest of the gears u can try after 6k rpm. As this is a short stroke & high reving engine, you need to rev little more to put the engine into its comfort zone before you actually shift. Hope this helps.

Same here.. Earlier it used to be 440/- or something. Now its 750/- , so I am doubting them.
So i instead use Shell 10W40T which comes for 780/-

Maybe they were filling mineral oil earlier. Now that the services are PAID (not that oil was free in FREE service anyway), they're using legit synthetic oil.

Thanks for the confirmation! And sorry for trying to blame Honda ASC for malpractices!
Also, one quid means one pound sterling. 200 quid would be a lot.

OT warning : The word 'quid' has latin origin from the expression "Quid pro quo" before british usage which roughly translates to exchange of goods or services hence some kind or Currency. And on the WWW informally referred to money (derogative)

Synonyms - Dough = Slang. money
