Thanks man, I love my baby blade. Still don't regret buying the Second Hand CBR instead of a brand new Trigger (was an option given by my dad; he bought me the bike, I'm just 18 by the way...)
Now about the bike, I don't think the previous owner crashed the bike before, at least it was alright when I bought it, except that the rear foot peg holder is slightly bent which means the bike may have fallen on the left, but the fall causing this minor damage could have occurred while the bike was stationary as well. We also inquired with the ASC in that area and they gave us details that the bike has never been serviced there for anything relating to an accident. However, after we bought the bike and took it to the ASC, we realized that this guy had not been getting the bike serviced at the Honda ASC's. Instead he must have employed some local mechanic to service it!
But anyway, the bike doesn't show any signs of damage to the frame, so I dont think it's ever been through an accident!
About the parts replaced, I don't remember much, besides, the bills of all the repairs are kept in the bike storage!
But some things that were changed (some of which are yet to be complete since my bike is currently at the Honda service center) are :-
    1) Clutchplates and Pressure Plates
    2) Front R.H.S Indicator
    3) Chain-Sprocket Kit
    4) One of the Front Suspension Rods
    5) Both Camshafts
    6) 4 Valve Caps (the ones beneath the camshafts)
    7) Seam
The rest I have forgotten. But 5, 6, and 7 are being changed now. Then the bike will be smooth and pickup will improve (or rather, be restored) as is claimed by the CBR service engineer at Vihaan Honda. Let's hope all goes well!

I have a question guys. Is there any riding jacket that would match the Black and Candy Palm Green CBR? My budget is about 4-5k, and CE approved armour is my requirement!
I live in Mumbai but shall be visiting Delhi in 1-2 weeks. Please suggest some good jackets and which stores in Delhi I can approach. Your help is much appreciated!

Now that's a long list. If they're changing suspension components then I guess the bike have met with some kind of accident.
Make sure both front forks are fine. from experience, even slightly bend fork can kill the fun of a motorcycle.
Also what made the mechs to open and inspect the engine? Was there any unusual noises or vibrations ?

For jacket , please post in riding gears thread. For a good jacket you'll have to shell out 6-7k rupees minimum.
        Ride safe.

Yeah there was a weird clicking sound coming from the engine. The front rod was changed because the engineer noticed that it was rubbed at a certain area. Otherwise both the forks are absolutely fine!

Actually the only reason I asked about the jacket here is because I wanted to know if anyone may know of a jacket that matches the color of my bike. Since there are many 150R users here I thought they'd be in a better position to suggest with respect to color of the jacket...:P

              Hi Guys!

I need help in understanding the issue.

Did first service with this machine 1 week back. Had covered 770kms so far in 35 days.

Found lot of strange things after first service and armour all waxing on my own (Issue May be not due to service or wash and waxing)

#1 Engine vibrates at 4000-5000 rpm its normal, that i read through this forum. But mine has vibrations after i cross 7000rpms.
#2 I get tuk tuk sounds after bike stopped & engine switched of. And that tuk tuk sound coming at multiple frequencies. Its possible coming from 2 or more places.
#3 As soon as engine started, there is some noise like rainy. Even without acceleration. And on acceleration that sound increases. Earlier i heard nothing but pure exhaust sounds.
#4 When i don't accelerate, i find the bike is decelerating more. Like some one is puling it back. Earlier deceleration very less on closed throttle.

All these are new. Never had these things earlier.

I checked engine oil. Engine oil level is more than sufficient. Engine oil added by Honda people. I'm not bike expert. Pls help me. I loved this bike in first month, greatly worried on it now.

              Thanks in Advance.

Hi guys! I wanted to know if any of y'all have put the new switchgear (with the pass light switch) on your 150R. If yes, please tell me about your experience with it and it's price, as I was considering getting the old switchgear replaced with the new one. Otherwise the switchgear works perfectly fine!
And please post some pics of the new switchgear as well! Thanks!

                      Hi Guys,

Till now i gave my bike for service to two authorised honda service centers, but i felt both are really worst .

the excitement that i felt when i rode my bike before the first service , i can never get that from the bike after that first service :@
i dont know what they did to my bike on the rear wheel, there has been some alignment proglem, every time i gave my bike to the service center , i clearly tell them the issue, but when i get the bike after service they say 'everything is proper sir , just you are thinking that way, i feel normal when i ride'.
i got no idea, i fee like the bike will get skid during cornors , so i always make very conscious turns .

the basic service is also worse :@
break oils i dont know whether they apply it properly or not.
the bike gets breaking issues within two months of service :@, they are not good mechanics :@.

i am stayiing in tamabram, chennai. can somebody suggest me a good mechanic for honda CBR bikes

If you have time you can give your bike to Didar Egmore service centre. They are better than others. If you are looking for some other unauthorized service centres , check out KS Auto at Sanatorium. I heard good review about them. I am yet to see them though.

                              Hi Leak,

The only thing Honda ASC does with brakes is top up the brake oil which you can check on the front brake reservoirs on the right handle bar and rear brake reservoir just above silencer.
Since both are disc brakes , no adjustment can be done.

My brakes feel a bit sluggish just after the service as they are wet, drive it for 4-5 kms and things are fine for me.

Hey guys, is there any aftermarket exhaust that I can fit in my 150R that has a good exhaust note and would not reduce the mileage of my bike? Please do let me know. My cousin has an exhaust in his CBR that he claims to give him a slightly increased mileage. You can see it in the pic below. He says it's available in Haldwani for around 2000 bucks! P.S. it's not an original Akrapovic muffler.
